Rexxar had his first vet appointment today. He’s such a trooper, he didn’t fuss even though they poked him for taking a blood sample and a vaccine. He has pink-eye and we’re giving him eyedrops and he took those like a champ too. My brave little beebee.
He’s sleeping next to me in his blanket nest right now - he’s had a busy day! He is NOT a fan of car rides, and the carrier we have - while super disproportionately big for him - is not big enough and he was very sad inside it.
But he’s come back with a clean bill of health other than the conjunctivitis - which is super common for kitties when they’re so little so we’re not concerned. The future vet visits seem like they’ll be pretty standard and regular.
He’s been such a good boy today and got lots of praise for it while we were at the vet’s office. And his big brother Mr. Thumbs was very worried that I took him away in the big carrier and waited until we got home. He still hasn’t forgiven me, but we’re working on it slowly. He was legitimately mad at me when I came home with the baby. He was like “you took the baby away, and i was worried, and he better be okay!” and then he got attacked by Rexxar and now probably wishes I’d kept the kitten out longer lol.
