Mr. Owl from Rusty Lake

Well they could be related since Mr.Owl (possibly) isn’t related to the Vanderboom’s.Maybe he is apart of this new family we will see in the next Rusty lake game from what i heard it could be called Rusty Lake:Paradise.So we will possibly see if this family’s name is Vandermeer (it means from the lake in dutch) maybe Mr.Owl is apart of that family.In my own case i always pictured Mr.Owl as Dales imaginary friend/guardian angel, but now that you said it..he could be related to Dale somehow.Sorry this is sorta short.

I need to ramble about rusty lake

SO. "Dev" which is what Mr.owl is considered. People call it "god" but that isn't quite the same. "Dev" is an "upadhi" or postion to be filled out which means. It can be changed. Even humans can become dev by achieving as said in rusty lake "enlightenment". A higher level of spirituality. And basically people who do that leave behind the materialistic world and everything related to mortality. Maybe that's why Mr.owl is making Dale do what he's doing so that Dale can leave his memories behind and take the postion of the ruler of the lake. Its even in his name! His surname vandermeer means "of the lake" so maybe cleansing his memories is a way to make Dale achieve a higher spiritual level. Of course now I could be way too deep into this concept and be wrong but dude this game is a piece of genius.

Thoughts/headcanons about Mr. Owl?

Thoughts:To me he always seemed to be that one person whos looking badass, but hes also really really vauge with introductions.And in a way that possibly mostly ends up in disaster more than a positive outcome. ((Im not sure if this what you meant by thoughts.So sorry if this isnt what you wanted.))Headcanons:*When i saw him in birthday i always figured that he (and Harvey also) were considered to be Dale’s “imaginary” friends.*He is a heavy heavy smoker.*Not that good at cooking (since Mr.Toad is there)((Im sorry this is so short i just havent been able to get more of him but il surely post, a headcanon/thought masterpost one day possibly.))
