An update on our newest, tiny friend in the house: My son named him Carl (as in Carl Grimes from the walking dead 😂), but he just doesn't look like a "Carl" to me! Since he is an older gentleman, I feel Mr. Grimes is more suitable 😉 Mr. Grimes needs to be picked up to be put on or off of the bed. He has been mostly silent, only making a sound two times since his arrival: he whimpered after my son returned to his dad's last night, and he snarled and barked twice when Miss Pizza got too close to his face 😂 He did have a minor seizure this morning, which might be because he was so stressed from being on the streets. I believe that this sweetheart might have been dumped, which is so heartbreaking. My son and I have discussed it, and with his delicate state, age, and likely medical problems, we sadly feel he is not our "forever dog". But, he will remain in our care, safe and loved, while we search for the right home for him, with someone who can give him the care he needs. He is VERY attached to Mr. Handsome, and did not eat or drink water until he was home from school.
