“What? Somethin’ on my face, Mr. Cid?” Dino gave a light shrug. “I’m not here t’ cause trouble. At least, not this time. I promise - swear on my crooked lil’ heart.”

@mr-hammerproof-thickskull replied to your post: “Says the man without a lady or guy.” “ “Are ya married boy?”
@nimblsouled: we could learn together! i dunno how to dance yet either !
“I’m saving myself the embarrassment of not knowing how to dance so no one ever gets to teach me and laugh at me.”

“Well then, I have an airship you might be interested in.” She then held up a finger. “Though I will be pissed if you end up ruining her. She’s my best ship and it would be such a shame to have her ruined.”
❝ i heard you were doing good. ❞
SHORT STORIES // not accepting ↪ @mr-hammerproof-thickskull
How long had it been since Regis had seen Cid, years, twenty years. The time had ticked on and age ate away at them both. Cid was immovable, Regis recognized him within a moment.
However time had not been kind to this old king with crow’s feet at the corners of his eyes and smile lines that cut as deep as a blade at the corners of his lips. With each passing day Regis lost more of himself to the ring, to the wall, to the war.
It would be his ruin and Regis could say nothing to anyone about it. It was killing him piece by piece, day by day.
“Yes.” Regis lied as he greeted Cid with a small dip of his head. The smile didn’t reach his eyes. “I’m doing well. It’s good to see you, old friend”
@mr-hammerproof-thickskull continued from [here]:
Standing here, it was easy to tell just how far apart they’d grown, and in so many ways. Clarus’ posture was stiff, his back straight and shoulders square. The posture of a solider, of a diplomat. Cid walked languidly without a care. Hard to believe they’d once been so close, that Clarus had grabbed Cid’s shoulder, shaking the other man as he laughed and congratulated them on a good fight. Things had been more simple back then, when they were young and idealistic.
He follows Cid towards the garage, “How is your granddaughter?”
mr-hammerproof-thickskull replied to your post “there are things a king did not need to see. Especially on his own...”
"Heh, like you were any better when you were younger."
“I thought we talked about calling me out like this?”
“Hold still… it’s supposed to say ‘wrath’ not ‘rat’.”
Far Cry 5:
"I don't see th'reason for puttin' those decal things on cars, Cid. Reckon it's pointless." Because the sun in Leide was gonna bleach the hell outta a car's paintwork anyways, but Cid didn't even give him a glance - jus' kept workin' on the car.
