have some random frerard prompts that i’ve been trying to write for months but can’t:

In the not-distant-future Apple has just released iCupid, a new app that can detect your soulmate just by scanning your thumb. Gerard, who just can’t keep up with technology, meets Frank, who is bored of gadgets and likes to collect vintage stuff, through this app (titles I came up for this: iLove You, Can’t Find Your Soulmate? There’s an App for That!)

ghost!frank au where Gerard is an angsty teenager who just moved into a new house (and is super moody because he had to change schools in the middle of the semester) where ghost!Frank tries to scare him but Gerard just takes out one earbud and he’s like ‘What?’ and Frank is just fucking done

hesitant alien!au where music is now engineered by programmers and preformed by halograms, Gerard wants to travel the galaxy to ‘bring back real music’ with real instruments and real voices and Frank doesn’t think they’ll make it big but helps him anyways (also Frank is the only human who Gerard knows who can play a physical guitar)

greaser/desolation row!au where frank is the leader of The Scorpions gang and gerard is the leader of a rival gang and they should hate each other but fall in love

teacher!au where Gerard and Frank are teachers and one day Frank starts talking about how he admires Mr. Way’s ‘teaching skills’ but his class knows he’s in love with him, including his student Mikey who just so happens to be Mr. Way’s little brother
