An RP between Rin & Mrik

School was going to start soon. Where did the summer go? Rin, for the life of her, couldn't figure out how the time had passed so quickly. She spent some time at her cousins over in Maraqua and then the rest of her time had been taken up by Pia, a fact that her parents still weren't aware of, thank Fyora. They'd have her head on a silver platter. And of course, her violin lessons, a few other students she tutored and some early college prep courses, which of course, were a result of her parents yet again taking her life into their hands.

It was really unforgivable that Rin hadn't carved out any time to spend with her best friend since 9th grade, Mrikuni. Of course, she could pretend that she had stayed away, only communicating via texting and the internet, because of her busy schedule, but in reality, she was afraid.

Her first week she had spent at her cousins, Mrik had developed an infection that left her blind. It was Mara's frantic texting that informed Rin of this. And so, throughout the summer, Rin had made excuse after excuse not to see her best friend and she was sure Mrik knew something was up.

Which is why, after getting the message about movies and popcorn, Rin decided to take it up on her. She had no idea what this disability had done to change Mrik, or even their friendship, but it was time she found out.

With a deep breath, she knocked on the front door, nervously waiting for someone to open it.

OOC: I just want to tell you guys, I haven't seriously RP'd like in 10 years. I've tried to get back into it multiple times and I never could.

And I was having an emotional BLAST tonight with this. I'm super excited for it's continuation.
