After walking out of the coffee shop, Seolhyun was checking her schedules on her phone when she heard the other’s voice. She has heard this voice before, but it was hard to make out who it belonged to. Add to that, it was almost impossible for someone to recognize her with the mask covering half of her face. Turning slowly, to make out where the source of the voice was coming from, her eyes widened. “Mark?” They haven’t met in a while, so it was a surprise to her. A small smile made her eyes wrinkle on their edges -and it was the only way to tell she was smiling-. “What do you mean it was me?”

    ( 💣 ) – HIS GAZE FLICKERED TO HER FINGERS WRAPPED SO DESPERATELY AROUND HIS WRIST. Although he opened his mouth to speak, he didn’t even know what to say – there was almost nothing he could say or do to alleviate her fear. He continued to gaze at her with a pitiful expression, his face softening slightly as he made no effort to pull her hand off of him. ❝ You have to. You need to leave this place… it-it isn’t safe, ❞ His face was distorted in worry, eyebrows furrowing whilst he continued to stare at her. It was within her best interests to get as far away from him as possible, he didn’t now what was about to happen. ❝ Look, please do this for me. I can’t get you into danger, I promised myself I wouldn’t endanger anyone anymore, ❞ He pleaded, swallowing a lump in his throat when his ears pick up the sound of people nearby. He got up to creep against the wall, mouthing a ❝ please go ❞ before disappearing around the corner. 

If she left him, she would still be frightened about this whole situation. The dark had never been quite friendly to her -- the cold didn’t help either. They wandered to the neighborhood at which she wasn’t quite familiar with and her introverted personality would most likely not get her anywhere. Feeling a heavy feeling in her chest, she heaved a sigh, not showing any signs of letting his wrist going anywhere. She was frightened, she had nowhere to go and she wondered how she stumbled into this situation in the first place. Aside from worrying about herself, her friend -- she couldn’t leave him to deal with whatever it was that they were trying to escape alone. Two is always better than one despite the fact that she might not be much of a help. As soon as he disappeared, she stepped back to stand against the cold wall, attempting to find her way around in the dark, but to her dismay, nothing she did worked. All she could think to do was ask for some help... could be useless, but might account to something. “M- Mark? Where are you? Please don’t do this.”
