Why did you choose your url: because I am mashlum trash, through and through. The OT3 of dreams.

my makeup went okay this one time

thank you @malumtrashy for tagging me in this! I’m usually really bad at tags and stuff but I like the concept of this, I guess, and also procrastination?

So, yeah: 10 things I love.

1. Makeup- right now, when I’m the most stressed I have ever been there’s something really therapeutic about applying a full face of makeup and then just taking it off again.

2. Music- in a similar vein, inside my head is a pretty shitty to reside at this time of the year, and there’s something about just lying down with headphones in that kind of breaks me out of my own head for a bit. Current favourite album, if anybody’s interested, is the 1975s ‘I like it when you sleep’.

3. Writing- all of these things are fucking exam related, I swear, and that makes a lot of sense in an infuriating way. Basically, I love writing for pleasure because that means I’m not writing essays and taking practice papers and revising, and I don’t want to be doing any of those things. (If you’re reading TCOMOT, an update is imminent, because I keep on writing fic instead of revising).

4. Chocolate- fuck me, I love chocolate. Giant chocolate buttons are the best thing on this damn planet and I am forever grateful for their invention.

5. Inside jokes- this is hella emo but basically, I’m insecure in all of my friendships because I’m a shitty person and being reminded of inside jokes is significant enough validation that I can kind of believe that my friends are really my friends.

6. My family- this should have come higher up the list, probably, but I mean this is in no particular order. My family are super supportive of me and they love me and stuff and that’s legit all I can ask for from them and from anybody. Also, they bring me cups of tea when I’m locked away in my room for days on end.

Shit, this is actually getting really hard now (lmao that’s what she said) and I can’t think of more things???

7. Gigs, concerts, live music in general- I’m including this as a separate thing to like ‘listening to music’ because when I say gigs, like yeah, the actual act is a large part of what makes me love going to so many, but there’s also all of the small things!!!! like… the people you meet and the feeling in the room when the lights go down and the band comes on stage- how you kind of feel like you’re part of a community when you’re in a pit and you know that the experience means as much to everybody around you as it does to you- and stuff. I love all of that.

8. Seeing results- idk, this is a weird thing but like I kind of live for the moments when you meet goals or surpass them entirely. God this is such a fucking Capricorn thing to say.

9. Comfy pyjama pants- self explanatory, really, and the most #relatable thing I’ve said, maybe ever???

10. TV SHOWS!!!!! GoT is back, finally, and the thing we’d all been waiting for actually happened. Um, Brooklyn 99 references are part of my every day speech at this point, sorry if we text and I say weird things now. Blame that. Masterchef Australia just started shooting the next season and I’m so excited for that, nobody understands how geeky I am for that show.

THATS IT!!!! This was hella long and rambly but I kind of got in my feelings, a bit, so well done if you made it this far.
