Story first, gameplay second. A rich, immersible world and customizable, headcanon-able player character matter the most.

I haven’t played many indie games. The original Trine was really sweet, dunno about the sequels. Starbound seems also very nice, tho I’ve only been playing for 2 days. As for AAA: GUILD MOTHERFUCKING WARS 2
3. Does character customization matter to you, or are you okay with a “set” protagonist?
My first 3 hours of any new game are spent with character creation, if there is one.
(Mmo)rpg. The rpg element matters overwhelmingly, not the number of players. I don’t really play classic, closed-group multiplayer though. I also like watching horror game LPs, but not playing them.
