      it wasn’t every day that you came face to face with a skeleton, but steven wasn’t.. quite sure what to do - or what to say. did he shout? run away? that would be what you’d normally do upon seeing a skeleton walking around, but.. he’d seen a lot of scary things before, so.. all he could really manage was: 

      “um... nice... nice slippers!”

item vendors were traditionally only meant to sell to the protagonist; even one as self-aware as zacharie was no exception to the rule. however, it had been years and his dear puppeteer had lost much of their interest in continuing their eternal song and dance— or so it seemed. certainly they would take no offense if zacharie expanded his clientele.     ( and if they did, what the player didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them, no? ) it also helped that this game had a convenient assembly of stands scattered about— guard posts?      ( well, they were shops when zacharie was the one behind the counter, regardless. )

however, there was something that was bothering him. something about the looks he was getting— not that strange looks were a problem, per se, but anything that posed a risk of hurting his business was automatically of zacharie’s concern. and so, the merchant decided, the only logical course of action was to ask.

❝ excusez-moi, my friend. ❞ he called out, to the next npc who drew close enough to be considered within speaking distance. ❝ i’m not familiar with the lore of this video game. is there something unusual about my shirt? ❞ a pause, and then, ❝ feel free to browse in the meantime, of course. ❞

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Oh, Sans. Sans Sans Sans. Do you know the first time I played Undertale, I didn’t think too much of him? I liked that he had a few puns, but really in the game he doesn’t spout them off terribly often. I wasn’t sure what to think of him. It honestly wasn’t until I stumbled upon a Sans roleplaying blog that I fell in love with the character and made more effort to learn about him!How they play them: A+!!! I adore the unique touches they’ve added to their Snas, from the teeth to the timeline to his experiences. He’s both a bundle of nerves and chill AF. It’s a beautiful combination, and as I’ve said to the mun before, the ONLY time I have thoroughly enjoyed first person prose!!! I honestly couldn’t imagine their Snas being written any other way now. I love him and am proud to call their blog Twinny.The Mun: A ball of sweets, this one. Here’s how we met: I saw that their URL was incredibly similar to mine, and like a nerd, hurled myself into their inbox proclaiming them my twin. Instead of being weirded out and promptly blocking me like a Sane Person, they chatted with me, started a thread with me, and have overall been nothing but kind, funny, and supportive. I’m always glad to see them <3

Overall Opinion: Fantastic writer, lovely artist, kind mun. It’s the whole package. Go forth and enjoy them, and tell ‘em Funnybone sent ya ;)

Their SOUL is hammering against their chest, practically shuddering as they hang onto half HP after encountering another barrage of attacks from Shyren. The creature certainly wasn’t trying to hurt them, but the magical music notes just kept hitting their little red heart. 

Frisk just wasn’t on their best dodging game, maybe because something was weighing them down. Thoughts, feelings, fears, the knowledge that they’d run away from the only good home they’d ever had- twice. First Mom, now Sans and Papyrus. It’s for good reason, this is what the child keeps telling themselves as their feet wade through Waterfall.

It’s been all they could think of once they settled in with the skeleton brothers: The Barrier. Each day Frisk spent with them only made them realize just how much they were missing out. Monsters had been locked away for so long, no sun or stars too see, and here they were just relaxing!

Today they’re nine, and it’s time to take things into their own hands. They started this journey and now it’s time to end it for everyone. They would break the barrier- somehow. Everyone would be free, it was the very least they could do for all monster-kind had done for them!

The fallen child picks up a bit of speed as they hit the more solid part of Waterfall.
