Just.. the thought that Mrs. Mac is the way she is because of Luther hurts. Like we clearly see she’s talkative and happy in the Christmas special. Tbh I think it probably went downhill when Luther got more heavily into drugs, probably when Mac was 10 in my mind (I don’t remember how old he was in the VHS tape, but I think it was 8??)
