Happy Labor Day! Landry’s first day of homeschool is tomorrow. For his Labor Day Lesson he got to choose from Firefighters, Police Officers, Park Rangers, Mail Carriers, Lifeguards and Nurses. Day 9-15 #mission3105 I took a social media break over Mother’s Day Weekend but I didn’t forget about #mission3105. I baked sweet treats for my husband’s PD for two of the seven days of Law Enforcement Appreciation Week (and will send more on Friday), we did a little community clean up of our neighborhood (somebody left their “cobra” where my six year old could find it), I helped a little girl buy a small toy at the zoo souvenir shop, Landry mailed sweet letters to special people in his life, we sent baby food to a food pantry and clothes to charity. I was kind to myself on Mother’s Day. I was able to take a long hot bath and even put on nice clothes, make up and even wore my angel necklace in honor of Baby Dormi. I also made a commitment to take better of myself by joining weight watchers, starting a good walking program and have been sticking to it. Day Eight of #mission3105 was spent making more Tissue Trash Cans and Yarn Cans due to high demand. Landry gets a kick out of the requests. Made a few extra as surprises. Day Four of #mission3105 Landry decorated this Tissue Trash Can for his (and Dash & Dormi’s) Grandma Mobly in Oklahoma. Again, we used the scrapbook paper than I bought for Baby Dormi’s baby book before she passed away. These were supposed to be her nursery colors. Our first recipient for Day One of Mission #3105 is Allison Cohen-Wullaert. Landry decorated a Pringles can with a Love themed decorative paper. Now it’s a “tissue can” to put used Kleenex’s in when you’re not near a trash can.
