On occasion, when the cafeteria is outputting them, I may take a cookie. There have been instances in which I have taken two; these were when I had meetings shortly after lunch, however, as I am aware that I appear less intimidating to the younger staff when I may summon a cookie out of my pocket. It has been a valuable asset in ensuring that communications proceed smoothly.
