It seemed like ages ago since he was called to clean up a job gone horrible wrong... Since he left Silas alone in his suite. That was odd for Alexei, as he was only used to living by himself. Even more odd was having someone to return to and yet still, it didn’t occur to him that wearing the evidence of work back home for the other to see smeared all over him might not have been the best thing. It was late anyway. He doubted Silas was even still awake. The Russian just did what he always did as he got into the quiet suite, stopping at his mini bar to make his usual vodka on ice. Alexei was never much in a hurry to get himself cleaned up.

Aldebaran: What’s something you care desperately about? "When you have nothing, you tend to care about nothing so that’s how I’ve sort of lived my entire life. I mean - of course, I care about what few mates I have but friends come and go all the time and I couldn’t care less about my family. So yeah, I don’t really care about anything... Actually, no. I take that back. There is something I care about now and I never thought that would happen to me. Milky Way: Who’s your oldest friend? “Silas fucking Ward! We’ve been mates long before I even learned what wanking was.”

Mars: What’s your sexuality?“I guess that I’m offically bisexual. I mean, I didn’t really sleep with any men before the Tower. I messed around with them but I didn’t fuck ‘em and now that I’m here... When in Rome.”

Cygnus: Favourite weather?“I like warm weather. I don’t really care about what’s happening with it so long as it’s warm... You see, when I was younger, I never had to worry about where I was going to sleep when the weather was warm out.”

Cassiopeia: Favourite book?

I can’t pick just one, that would be a crime. I read a lot, and read a lot of popular novels because I’m constantly forgetting to bring books when I travel or go anywhere. I suppose if we’re going to books that impacted me, I’ve always loved The Alchemist, it’s got this brilliant circular rhetoric about finding your destiny. 

Hydra: Favourite sound?

Kitchen sounds, which seems kind of weird. But I love the sounds of pots and burner’s hissing. It’s not always been the same person, but it’s always a sound that makes me happy, because I’m either cooking for someone I care about, or someone is cooking for me.

Black Hole: What’s the last thing you want to see?

I don’t know. I haven’t thought about it. I suppose it would be someone I love. I’m not sure if that’s someone I love here, or if I’m hoping for some kind of reunion spiritually. But that would be a nice way to go.

Alexei had just gotten down with the proper cleaning supplies to scrub the little red drops out of his otherwise plush and pristine white rug, when screaming caught his attention on the screen. Glancing over, he paused. He recognized that asset, even curled up. Oh hell no. He just lost Theo, and now something just happened to Silas. He tossed the washcloth down and grabbed his cellphone off the floor beside him, wasting no time in dialing the asset, a low, irritated growl at the back of his throat.
