amelia bones is difficult to pin down. most days she can be found behind an insurmountable stack of parchments, half-empty ink bottles, and a bowl of strawberry bon bons. others, she can be found on the wizengamot bench wearing a stuffy robe and stern expression.
as a child, she was inquisitive, mostly speaking in questions and puzzled expressions. she was quiet, but not afraid to pipe up when needed; obedient, but ready to question most of her parents’ decisions. she was very, very observant and became a sort of copycat, learning and cataloguing the behaviors of adults and older children she deemed the best. amelia was placed into ravenclaw. she liked answers, and she loved barraging professors with questions. they mostly found her diligent and intelligent, sometimes unnerving. she’s unaware of what her peers thought of her, or if they thought of her at all, as she wasn’t very loud, or charming.
the bones family has a long history in the ministry of magic, and many of her ancestors have taken a more neutral stance to blood purity, as historically, the bones often married muggles and had non-magical children. amelia learns from other important wizards - friends of the family, other influential names in politics - that children from well-to-do families pick on people they deem to be lesser than them. there is little justice or logic among their opinions.
amelia started out at the department of magical law enforcement as a clerk, determined to work her way up the ladder. she has grown rather jaded with the system, though, as she is now an interrogator for wizengamot. she’s one of the better interrogators, though some say she is incapable of sympathy, and call her severe. she is also quick to shut down any semblance of pureblood supremacy, much to the chagrin of many sacred 28 members.
when the war reached its tipping point, the bones family – specifically, amelia’s parents – were attacked. she lost her father, first, brutally and out of her control, while her mother was hospitalized for weeks on end. after her mother succumbed to her injuries, amelia clinged on her two brothers. she can’t help but wonder if she helped to aim the target on her parents’ backs. now, the world seems to be a horrible and unwelcoming place. all she can do is power through and cling to the ones she has left.

HEADCANONS / SHORT BIO:
The Dolohov family line stands for purity, precision, power, and pride. They do not abide by half measures and foolish frippery, and when the Dolohovs believe something must be done or defended, they see it through. The Dolohovs have no patience for impure bloodlines; deep in their family’s history, they were nearly snuffed out by muggle violence. They nurse this wound and hold a grudge for the magical blood spilled by ignorant, filthy hands of muggle beasts.
The middle child of five brothers, Antonin studied magic at Koldovstoretz deep in the heart of Russia but when his family learned of the acceptance of muggle-born students, they quickly transferred him to Durmstrang. While he struggled with runes and incantations, and lacked some of the careful patience for transfiguration, he excelled in combat and charms (which was more than enough to satisfy his family). It was only during a final year exchange program at Hogwarts where Antonin felt the fate whisper in his direction.
The Dark Lord was growing in power, and he needed skilled, dedicated soldiers like Antonin. One single clandestine meeting with the Dark Lord was enough to change the trajectory of Antonin’s life.
Emboldened by the call of destiny and by Lord Voldemort’s careful attention, Antonin moved from the comforts of his home in Russia to the UK with all the speed he could muster. His life until that point had been a dull stream of events and family expectations, yet now he found purpose in a righteous cause. He would make his home ain this new land, even if his family couldn't understand this sudden change of heart, this need to be close to his Lordship. And while he struggles to keep himself afloat, selling old family heirlooms to keep himself fed, it will all be worth it in the end, when the world is cleansed and born anew.
At times, he thinks his lordship's attentions are rewarding enough to satisfy him, though they fail to quiet hunger pangs.
Antonin is a large man with dark hair and eyes. He speaks deeply accented English and fluent Russian, but tends to seldom speak if at all. Quiet, and reserved, he gives off the impression that he is perceptive. He wishes he were quicker witted, but finds that his strengths truly are in combat and dueling. When he is given a target, he follows through with the ferocity of a hunting dog. He prays that one day the Dark Lord will deem him worthy of his lessons, despite Antonin’s obvious lack of intelligence.

Nicknames: Not yet!
Headcanons: He’s actually quite shy and embarrassed of his voice. He enjoys music immensely, but refuses to sing.
AU interpretations: There’s no canonical age for Dolohov, so I placed his age as a year older than Bellatrix. I’m terrible with timelines, so if he’s meant to be older, I apologize! I tried to research this, but nothing conclusive came up at the time.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
I would love to create connections with everyone! I think naturally this character lends itself to meeting more Death Eaters, but if you’re outside of that circle, I’m happy to plot something up with you! Please DM me.
THREAD BASICS:
I really don’t care who reblogs/likes my threads. I tend to save my threads out in a separate document anyway for my rereading pleasure, so feel free to interact as you want.
GODMODDING:
I’m fine with godmodding as long as we discussed it beforehand and it’s part of a pre-planned plot. If not, please do not attempt.
CONTENT & WARNINGS:
I know this will seem strange, given the nature of the character I’m playing but please no child death or torture. That’s a hard boundary.
I’m open to darker themes, but they must be discussed in detail beforehand.
SHIPPING:
I love all ships with Antonin! I love to create chemistry with other characters, but I’m also open to planning a pre-established relationship ahead of time and starting a thread! Discuss it with me ahead of time and we’ll see what we can cook up!
OOC:
PLEASE keep mun and muse separate. No drama please. And also, please be polite. I will not tolerate rudeness.

Rumor has it the day Hestia Jones opened her eyes to the world was filled with the chirping of birds and clouds ready to be pushed aside by the sun hiding behind it. The mood of that day, the atmosphere all around very much became her personality in the later years, a bright smile with a sarcastic side few could match against. Hestia was the middle child, as just about two years later her younger sister was born. Despite that, their parents dedicated as much of their time to all three children as they possibly could. The family was of pureblood standing yet not one that supported the notion that blood purists kept trying to push on the world. Although her parents made sure to keep a safe distance to voicing their thoughts out loud, anyone that knew them was very much aware of their stance. That did not free the girls from the classic pureblood classes as their mother felt it would help with their education. Of course, her older brother wasn’t entirely free of that either; having to deal with his own share of things to learn, practice and preach.
Three years older than her and five years her younger sister's senior, her brother left for Hogwarts before them. The time without him was so utterly boring as he’d always been the fieriest between them all. With his temper and the teachings of their parents, the fact that he ended up in Gryffindor wasn’t a surprise. Much later, five years to be exact the younger one would follow to become the second lion within their family. In the meantime, Hestia busied herself running around the countryside, more than one dress torn in the middle of it all.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫
Three years after her brother’s departure to Hogwarts the young witch followed, sorted into Hufflepuff as the only one of her family as the rest were scattered between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. The warmest and most hard-working of the five of them, this did not come as a surprise as she had equally been a most hard-working individual.
With Hogwarts came the slow time of growing up; gone the girl that would run across the countryside, dresses ripped on branches and with time the manners she’d always possessed showing. By the time she graduated Hestia Jones had become an accomplished young witch, ready to take on the world. With the war going on outside the walls of the castle, the conflict ever-growing, there was only one path for the then former Hufflepuff. She found herself a spot within the ministry of magic, training as an auror among some of the best. There was determination, and a drive to some good in the world. Over time, with dedication, she not only completed her training as an auror but also began to rise in ranks; not a leader yet far from scared to take charge should the situation call for it. Hestia finally had a place to show just how much she was willing to protect others; to care for them as best as she could.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
Whether by chance or fate, a few years later – about a year after she’d graduated from Hogwarts, Hestia’s sister got engaged and soon after married, having fallen in love madly with someone from Ireland. After that she moved out and the house seemed oh so much emptier. It almost seemed like a sign, with only her parents remaining and her older brother having moved into his own place long ago. The witch found herself a small cottage within one of the Hamlets near Hogwarts, having herself fallen in love with the idyllic atmosphere and the short distance to the beach just south of her little house. It was perfect and calm, the ideal balance between her life as an auror and the calmness that came with the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore. The only thing messing with the lot of it were her parents’ views regarding marriage. While not a family of tradition in the sense of blood purism, they did hold some belief that the future of their children should be theirs to guide. One child had managed to escape those hopes, the other two, so they hoped, would be easier to help along.
By now Hestia's worked her way through the ranks, working directly underneath the head of the department. She's established herself in the Order, fighting hard for what she considers fair and just while never giving up.

Emmeline was born to JinXiu and Alusius Vance on September 23rd, 1951 on a stormy night shortly before midnight. Her parents were an unusual pair as Aluisus believed in the ideals of the world he lived in and felt himself part of the pureblood society as much as the next one. While he had known that marrying JinXiu would be looked upon as odd, he’d been drawn to her from the very beginning and simply pushed himself to believe that his one sidestep could not ruin the future of all there was. It had been a mistake that would eventually come to cost him dearly as with each passing day, and later the birth of Emmeline, society made it very clear that they did not in fact approve of his choice. Even though it wasn’t the most widespread fact, their family still paid the price for it. JinXiu herself never found her place in pureblood society and in return disliked the purists and their idea of life.
With Alusius’ firm belief to raise Emmeline the way him and his friends had been raised, the young witch grew up resenting her mother as everything she learned caused her to believe things were very much her mother’s fault. How else could one explain the way things had gone downhill? It started with her, surely it would end with her. Thus, the witch felt naturally connected to her father, doing her very best to impress him while growing up into a competent witch, who would upon being sorted find herself within Slytherin.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫
Slytherin was everything she'd ever dreamt of, Hogwarts a place that held all the wonder in the world and every step she needed on her path to becoming the witch she wanted to be. For the very first time she truly felt at home, fitting right in with the crowd. The loss of her mother during her second year almost didn’t bother her, was it not for the uncomfortable attention for the two weeks after.
Surrounded by those who would later become supporters and followers of the dark lord, the thrill and the darkness ever present, Emmeline found herself drawn to the same world. These people were friends, her home away from home; there was a loyalty with her that nothing could shatter so easily. Of course, Emmeline Vance wasn’t naive, not as much as one may have thought and yet she saw nothing wrong, did not bother to listen to those outside trying to hammer the truth they believed to be correct into the heads of those that saw the world in a way others may deem cruel.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
Upon graduation Emmeline joined the ministry, trained under both the department of magical law enforcement as well as the goblins at Gringott’s as a curse-breaker before fully joining the department, working under the aurors whenever they needed a curse-breaker to grant them access to artifacts or manors. It was around three months after graduation that she joined her friends among the ranks of Death Eaters, taking the mark. It seemed so simple, so logical at the time. In the meantime she buried herself in work, loving the fact that she was surrounded by the dark arts; the one thing she’d always felt at home around - other than potions.
Eventually she opened a shop, taking things on into a business venture in the making. A shop entirely dedicated to the craft of curse-breaking. The job within the ministry was kept, seeing use within it to help further the cause and if need be adjust things for the Death Eaters’ side. Emmeline wasn’t one to share her affiliation with anyone who did not need to know, rather using the fact that she could slip in and out of the shadows in order to remain unnoticed for the most part.
The mark on her arm was an ever-lasting reminder of what all of this was for. If the war was won then no one else would ever have to go through what she had to; the disgrace of a mother so unwilling to adjust to a world she simply did not belong in. And Emmeline herself had fought hard for her own place, to earn the respect she now held by giving respect in return.
Now that the war is in full swing, the witch has moments in which she yearns to prove herself but at the same time is very much okay not being the face of the whole situation. Being in the backlines allows her to be as sneaky as she could ever want. As stubborn as she is, it would take quite the shock to challenge her faith and loyalty toward those she cares for as well as the side she’s chosen. Recently she's found out about her mother's true identity, leading to a newly shaped path that Emmeline is still very much trying to navigate and figure out but only time will tell.

Estelle Travers was born on a sunny day in September, the sun pushing aside the rainy clouds of the prior days. What seemed like a good sign was only an indicator of the strong personality that the young girl would eventually grow to call her own. Being a part of a strong-willed family, she was raised in accordance with the expectations and hopes of the society they lived in, the customs clear as to what was important and what to be paid mind to. Estelle loved the dance lessons, enjoyed the language and art classes that accompanied her younger years and were, out of interest, pushed further and maintained for most of her life. An uncles dabbling in alchemy let to a curiosity in that field, even though it was a low simmering fact that was pushed aside in favor of other values. It was early on that she noticed that along with being gifted in the art of communication, it seemed almost too easy to make friends. A smile here, a wave there and occasionally a sweet chuckle and somehow those considering her near and dear only seemed to grow. The young girl was later told that it was a gift, but the truth was so much harsher than that. Her duty was clear and the gift only a part of that.
For a very long time Estelle believed herself to be gifted with good looks, charms, and incredible manipulation skills as she has no clue what truth hidden behind the lies is. Decades prior her grandfather, in search of a wife, ended up falling in love with a woman that had charmed him entirely. Believing her claims to be a pureblood, he got married to her. It wasn’t until their children had been born that he stumbled across the truth. His own wife was a veela. Shocked to the core he scrambled to find a way to work with it, caring for his wife yet knowing she went against everything expected of him. Instead of allowing the world to know of it, the secret was hidden underneath the excuse of the gift and no one was any wiser for it.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫
The witch had a brother she grew up admiring as he was almost like a guiding light in the darkness and many a thing was learned from him. When her time to attend school came, it was not Beauxbaton that her parents decided on but Hogwarts; the bigger school to the north. Years before the letters would even be sent out they had moved to England and so she went, on her first bigger adventure. When time to be sorted came, there wasn’t a need to wonder as the hat called out Slytherin before the hat even had a chance to ruin her perfectly-in-place hair. Estelle was determined to make not only her parents but also the brother in question proud with her accomplishments. Making friends was easy enough. The young girl was determined to do whatever it took to secure what her family needed, becoming the person they wanted her to be with burning determination. Of course, her own needs were not neglected as she grew up a smart and accomplished young witch, a perfectionist at heart. The air of mystery around her never quite dissipated.
With the war's presence growing, and her loyalties clear due to her family's beliefs and ties to the Death Eaters it came easy to the witch to find herself supporting those students among them that went in favor, being one to believe that the ones considered better by the world should have a say. It was a foolish thought, one that she wouldn't see the truth of until many years later.
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
Upon graduation Estelle began working for the ministry of magic in France, training there to become an efficient worker and rise through the ranks as she felt their language department surperior. One day, so the witch thought she would rise to be the personal assistant under the minister of magic, eventually wishing to transfer to the English ministry of magic. Before such a thing could happen, during one summer she bumped into an old friend and got inspired, eventually drifting toward fashion design and traveling for a while. It was there that her love for alchemy was reignited, and the dream moved from being a ministry worker bee on to combining alchemy and design, to push the limits of what was known.
Eventually Estelle returned to England and spent years working her way up under Madam Malkins, ready to set her foot in the fashion world, creating designs that would make the life of a death eater easier as well as creations of dresses that left her a good name with the people. It felt better, more ambitious and something she wasn't quite ready to let go. Until the day truth caught up with her and the reality of her veela heritage was revealed to her. Spiraling over the reality, unsure what to do with it and scared as to what this would mean to everything she'd stood for, Estelle ran off to France. While creating things there for her clients, it was until recently that she'd returned to England, more conflicted than ever about the life she used to lead. A war fought on purity, that was her path but it no longer seems as straightforward as it once had.

Lucius took his studies very seriously during school. At first it was to make his parents proud, but then he later discovered he enjoyed the attention in classes when his professors praised him and how others would ask him for help. It gave him a classified satisfaction to feel important, a feeling he continues to chase
He doesn’t have a real job and neither did his father. They have enough generational wealth that he’s able to donate to causes that will benefit him back tenfold. He supports the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts, St. Mungo’s, and some establishments. He only supports the arts so he can get a nice box seat or attend a good, sophisticated opera or orchestra.
Although he would boast that he’s smart, he’s actually clueless how the real world operates, not just the muggle world, but a divide in the classes. He’s licked silver spoons all of his life that he’s caught off guard if a place doesn’t do reservations or people take transportation like the bus.
Lucius and Narcissa were arranged to be wed much to his disinterest. She had been a couple of years below him at school, the younger Black sister. They never got along even in their social circles so it was brutal irony that brought them together. Their first years together were hard. There were fights, arguments, and disagreements. Nothing that made them want to love each other harder. The other problem was conception which would need even more love to happen. Somehow, someway they clicked once the war began and once Narcissa's sister was exiled from the family. They clung to each other closer because they didn't have anyone left. Now, they are almost inseparable.
Lucius has an office in Diagon Alley in case anyone wants to hold a meeting with him. He goes by appointments only and prefers not to do them at his house unless it’s a close personal client
When torturing muggles or suspected Order members, he prefers poison as his secret weapon. He likes to hear the truth right before the poison takes their life; it’s clean and puts them to sleep. He also enjoys contemporary dark magic and trying them out. Lucius just prefers not to get his hands dirty and directly violate someone. He can’t really swing a punch and he hates blood.
Lucius is a professional host and loves to share that with Narcissa. He takes pride in watching people network with each other, knowing he was the one who set that stage in the first place, a leverage he holds over their heads to remind them later. If someone is invited to a Malfoy party, they should acknowledge it as a sign of respect and success.
"I simply have to believe that taking a deep breath has to be enough; that, and to think of a new solution, a new path. Walks by the beach do not leave footprints and yet they have happened. I will take that as inspiration."

BIO
Already, he felt like a waste of space when he was born into a family that were convinced they were having a girl. The family name of Rebecca was swiftly turned into Beck. Though his first day of life was always narrated to him like he was an afterthought, he quickly became a source of praise. He’d always considered himself the favorite, a notion that went unchallenged for a long time. His brother, Clyde, was practically a stranger, already off to school by the time Beck drew his first breath. Hogwarts threw that into sharp relief – the constant comparisons, the professors who’d taught Clyde before him. Even in first year, Beck craved his own identity. He grew up falling in love with Quidditch, finding it his goal to be a professional player after graduating.
during school, he found a thrill when he got a rise out of other students and for many years, he chased that feeling when he wasn’t on the quidditch field. in the school corridors, he was a menace. and for four great years, he was finding a peak of joy while being on the quidditch team as a chaser. it fueled his competitive urge, any pent up releases from school that week, and he enjoyed the parties after a successful game. one game however, he was close to winning with streaks of red and green robes catching in the wind. He dove, hand outstretched for the Quaffle, when a Gryffindor player slammed into his side. Annoying, the first hit. The second, a brutal shove, nearly sent him tumbling off his broom. The next few heartbeats were lost in a haze. One moment, his fingers were inches from the ball; the next, a Bludger cracked his arm, splintered his broom handle, and he was falling, the ground rushing up to meet him. He woke to the sterile quiet of the Hospital Wing. The truth settled like a stone in his gut: his Quidditch dreams were shattered. Not just the lingering ache in his shoulder, the way the joint felt wrong, but the brutal reality that it wouldn’t heal in time for his final year, the games where the scouts would be watching, assessing potential. It was only Pomfrey, with her usual sharp tongue, who finally broke through his silence, demanding he find a cure for his stubbornness if nothing else. It was tough love but what he needed. A week crawled by, filled with the tedious tasks he invented to stave off the boredom: folding bed linens, counting stock of the potions on hand, and conversations with other student patients. even after he was healed, he continued to go to the hospital wing. when he graduated, he continued his studies first in Barcelona for a residency that came highly recommended by pomfrey and a fellowship program in berlin. Home only beckoned when the news arrived, stark and brutal: his mother, dead, and his father, paying for his choices in the chilling depths of Azkaban. It was around that time he took the job at St. Mungo’s, the fourth-floor Spell Damage ward. His first year as a Healer was a baptism by war, its long shadow filling the ward with mangled results of dark magic, a relentless cycle of suffering, lives he couldn’t save slipping through his fingers.
now, he stradles the line of wanting to make the wizarding world better by helping one patient at a time while also hiding behind a contradicting death eater mask.
