^ I agree. He’s never fought her to the death. He was fighting to subdue her in TFA. He actually had her beat when he offered to train her and could have delivered a final blow. But instead he just let her mull it over and tap into the force lmao

Exactly! Like I know Reylos have PTSD from antis but like we’re at the point were they accept any writing of Reylo as long as it’s Rey kicking Kylo’s ass just so they look woke. 

I hate when writers do this with Villian/Hero relationships they make the writing one sided as hell.

I think their intention is for them to be equals, but the narrative rarely puts Rey in a position to lose. When she fights Kylo in TFA, he’s severely wounded and coming off a very emotional scene. In TLJ, she WOULD have died, if not for Kylo turning on Snoke.

And now in the third and final movie she’s freezing him mid attack. Something that’s never been done before in the movies to my knowledge. Like seriously why would she want to work with him at this point? If she so much more powerful then?

Tbh I think they’ve made her flawed; the narrative just doesn’t like to point those flaws out. Which is a shame.

I agree. To some degree, Tamlin’s punishment UTM was the worse for HIM, because he’s a protector and being forced to watch and do nothing while someone he loves is suffering is like his worse nightmare. It’s sad because his trauma is ignored, while other characters are allowed to do shitty things when they’re reacting to trauma.

Exactly! Feyre leaving Tamlin and falling for Rhys in the Night Court says more about how they grew apart than how “awful” Tamlin supposedly is. He couldn’t give Feyre what she desperately needed. And that’s okay. Feyre needed time to heal, but I don’t think Tamlin ever got that chance. He spent the entire time she was healing worried for her safety. So he did what he thought was best. He was wrong, but Rhys and Feyre have been very wrong on multiple occasions.

I really wish there had been a point for them to talk in the series, where Feyre could explain how everything changed. He needed some closure for the relationship. Hopefully now he can move in that direction.

Cut? Yeah. Or saving it for part 2? Because I'm pretty sure Seb mentioned in an interview that obviously with all the Thanos shit going on that there wasn't really time for any significant moments between them, but that they do have a slight moment, an interaction of sorts. I mean I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah Seb signed on for a 9 movie contract I believe, and technically he's only done 4 (6, if the post-credit scenes in Ant-Man, and BP count as 'an appearance' but I doubt it). But yeah I still believe they're gearing him up to take over as Cap, and then maybe, just maybe they'll give us the Buckynat content we deserve. I'll still hold out for that Black Widow origin story ft The Winter Soldier though <3
