Fic recommendation: Queen of Peace by Bratanimus and MrsTater (aka Khaleesa)

They brought this to my attention recently (ish - sorry about that!) and I’m already hooked :D The story is an AU that focuses on Sabé and Obi-Wan’s role in looking after baby Luke and Leia, and what that means for the connection they’ve had since the Trade Federation incident.

The summary promises to cover a lot more besides, which I look forward to reading about :) The story is well written and very detailed without being slow-paced. The small tie-ins with The Force Awakens are particularly interesting. A great start, and I can’t wait to read more!

I cannot express how awesome I found this fic. It's funny, heartwarming and includes drunk Remus. A perfect pick me up in my busy weeks. Spoilers for the last book.

Updates Worth Having

For those of you following Something Worth Having, chapter 12 is well under way but I can't promise an update this week. My beta is unavailable, and as I'm also going to be on vacation starting the 26th, I may hold off posting chapter 12 till next week, with the plan of writing chapter 13 in the meantime to post while I'm away from home.

Does any of that make sense? Basically, I'm trying to say don't look for chapter 12 in the next few days (though who knows, miracles do happen and I may surprise you), I won't leave you more than another week between updates, and I promise your patience will be rewarded. As will certain characters' in the story... ;)
