i’ll NEVER forget the time when this guy in my writing workshop class said with his entire chest that he was only there to “learn how to write erotic fanfiction” when introducing himself...what’s worse is that he went right before it was my turn and me, who was turning beet red and flustered because I wasn’t expecting such a blunt answer, said “oh haha I don’t know if I can top that” AND SOMEONE FROM THE FRONT SAID SMTHN LIKE “OH I BET YOU CAN TOP SOMETHING ALRIGHT” like due to personal reasons I will be passing out AND considering dropping out thnx everyone

you GUYS one of my language partners (someone who partners with you to learn your native language while you learn theirs) just told me that [if] I visit him at his country he will take me to the ocean and play his violin for me under the moonlight and greet me with love and holy shit...is this what it feels like to be serenaded...???

I just want to find a penpal who will be kind and sweet and passionate about his work and the nicest man and we’ll talk day and night but also send each other snail-mail and await our little gifts and tea and fall in love and we’ll finally confess when we meet on a rainy day and we’re both gripping tightly to the letters we’ve written to one another over the course of several months GOD PLEASE let me have happiness omg
