The blight Speculation :

I'm starting to think that amity has more problems with her mother than her father.

If they are really her parents that is very likely, this confirms two things:

Amity is undoubtedly not adopted because Her father has brown hair

Soo why did amity dye her Hair? My answer is to look as much like her mother as possible

her parents, according to amity's diary, let the twins any of their antics without any punishment , but Why tho? I think it's because they are already similar to their parents in a certain degree :

the twins can be very manipulative, this is shown in the same episode that they first appeared that they manipulated the darling noceda to be part of their antics

They were l i t e r a l l y wanting to spread amity's diary through the entire school and basically didn't give a single fuck for the consequences.

maybe miss blight sees herself on amity and so on she thinks she has to act like her ? It makes sense because they are RIDICULATELY Similar in terms of appearance.

Heck amity in her diary makes It clear that she has already called her teacher (who is probably lilith) a mom more than once, maybe she looks for her mother's appreciation through her teacher?

Also also this is more random thinking and but what if this business of the blight family only associate with the strongest means to associate with the strongest genetically?

Ummmm...... what!? So Amity’s mom forces her to dye her hair because why!?!? Blights children need to be color coordinated like fucking accessories? Um..... can someone save Amity?

CAN SOMEONE SAVE AMITY!?!? Like in one hand I feel better because they weren’t close during convention so Amity didn’t feel too betrayed? On the other hand ouch!? Like I’m sure it still hurt and the fact that she has no clue what being close to a parent is like! Someone help her like can I adopt her???

So the Blight parents make an appearance in Young Blood Old Souls

I was watching the scene of younger Eda and Lilith and I noticed something in the background

So I had a closer look at them because the hair cut remained me of amity but that can't be right, this is a flashback

At this point I wasn't entirely convinced that this person was possibly one of the blight parents, they looked close enough but I wasn't entirely sure, so I want back to understanding willow and checked the even where we see Amitys parents

They seem to match pretty well

But still I wasn't entirely convinced, lots of these things added up, the timing, the hair colours and they're over all appearance seemed to fit just right, but I was still a little apprehensive

The final straw was the eye colour, it's a little tinyed because it's a flashback but it seems pretty dead on

Edric, emira and amity all have matching eye colours, any you wanna know whose eye colours look pretty similar? These two (well at the very least the green haired one because of the flashback affect)

So yea

Okay but the question remains, who’s next to eda in this photograph??? We collectively first thought it could be ms. blight but witch on the right has the striking resemblance to amity, is most likely ms. blight. But she’s from the abomination track and whoever is next to eda has a red uniform???

idk why but i think she’ll be an important character somehow. Either the rumored Gwendolyn who’s Dana’s fave character or the thief mentioned in the incident reports tho idk how that could tie in with the current plot... hMmm interesting

*SPOILER ALERT*

Guys, I know that we all are right now emotionally charged because of what happened in "The Owl House" at the episode "Young blood, Old souls", but can we please take a moment...

And REALISE THAT AMITY'S PARENTS WERE RIGHT THERE AT THE WITCH DUEL BETWEEN YOUNG EDA AND YOUNG LILITH, IN THE EMPERORS COVEN?!?!?!?

They didn't even sat up to cheer for Lilith's win. And they are the only people which we can recognise very clearly, except from the guards. AND, most important of all, THEY. ARE. SMILLING. Very suspicious!?!?!

If you still don't believe it, take an image of them older and try to match the hairstyles and the colors with the previous photos and Amity's hair, the REAL color of Amity's hair, which is something that shows she is truly their daughter, sadly for her.

Also, their uniforms show that Mr. and Ms. Blight were in the Abominations track.

Edit: Actually, right now I discovered that Alador (Mr. Blight) went on the Abominations track and Odalin (Ms. Blight) could have been either on the Oracle track or the Abominations track. The images are kind of blurry, so no one can tell truly the difference until season 2.
