"Hello Lieutenant, this is Chloe Decker. I am taking a day off today as I am down with severe fever and migraine ." Chloe spoke to the Lieutenant in a tired tone through her phone.
"OK Decker. No problem.Take care" the Lieutenant replied.
(BTW..Lieutenant is not Pierce ok...i hate that guy..🤔)
Chloe proceeded to sit on her couch and started reading her novel.
After an hour, she heard her door bell ringing.

Happy 40 Birthday to Aimee Garcia.
Ella: It's so hard when 2 of your friends start dating each other
Ella: Cuz it's like now who do you give the "if you hurt them, they won't find your body" talk to?
Lucifer 5b and/or 6 theories about Ella
I have a feeling and kind of a hope that they're going to explore the 'dark side' of Ella more in the upcoming seasons. Aimee said in the recent ET interview that the 'darkest' part of the show is going to be in Ella's storyline. I'm not sure if that was her just referencing Pete almost killing her, but I can't help feel that the show has been building up to something more for her.
In season 2 after Lucifer comes back from vegas, when Lucifer finds out Ella sees a psychologist, she points to her brain and says "up here, a lotta darkness" and of course Lucifer goes "oh really" with a smirk.
In season 3, on Lucifer and Ella's trip to Vegas to investigate the attempt on Candy's life, she says she gambled/gambles to quiet the voices, then Lucifer is like 'what voices?' and then Ella doesn't even realize she said it out loud.
We sort of get an explanation for it in the bonus episode about Ella at the end of s3 when Azrael is introduced. She went through the very traumatic experience of almost dying as kid and then now sees a 'ghost'. She kind of makes reference to her family and friends thinking she was crazy and being put on meds and such because of it.
We also see how Ella is drawn to 'bad boys', so to speak. I found that super interesting because Ella has never really had an attraction to who you might consider to be the 'baddest' boy: Lucifer.
It made me think in season 2 'The weaponsizer' when Lucifer pretty much offers to have sex with her and she says no, even after a moment of agreement. Lucifer is a little surprised by it but then drops it cuz she moves on. We obviously know that Lucifer is not actually a bad person, but especially at that time in season 2 he definitely fits the bad boy characteristics. All about sex, no relationships, little emotional connection, etc... Lucifer says he appeals to the 'dark and mischievous hearts' in most woman. My first thoughts as to why he said 'most' was because some simply weren't attracted to men and therefore not Lucifer, but Ella does seem to clearly be attracted to men.
And again in season 5, Ella mentions to Chloe how she loves Lucifer like a brother and 'she doesn't find him attractive'. This begs the question: why?
Is that simply because Ella just never saw him that way, always more like a friend/brother, maybe she just spotted Deckerstar right from the beginning and didn't even think about it cuz she shipped them all the way. Or is she somehow not affected by him? I could be wrong but has Lucifer ever asked Ella what she desired? I can't recall him doing so. I HIGHLY doubt she's a miracle or anything but does her early exposure to divinity (Azrael) have anything to do with it?
Then we get Pete here in 5x08, who says that there is a darkness in her that he recognized immediately. When Pete said this, i immediately thought about Ella saying that to Charlotte after the Goddess left her body. I recognized the parallel but couldn't come up with any further theories or anything about why.
Then a little bit ago i saw on post on here (i can't for the life of me remember or find who it was from, so if it was you or you know the post please let me know and I'll credit). It mentioned how Azrael explained that Ella was a 'false alarm'. What if Ella died momentarily and then came back? That might explain the darkness, the same as Charlotte had after she died and came back. The inconsistency I see here though is that Charlotte's 'darkness' seemed to come her being in hell, and i very much doubt that Ella went to hell (cuz if children can be driven to hell by guilt then i have a whole bunch of problems with the system God has created there)
I think if there is a celestial reveal to Ella, i hope Azrael will be involved in it, and i also think that Ella might get really mad and upset at her (and maybe Lucifer) because it made her think she was crazy for all these years and she has these lasting effects from it.
ANYWAY, to summarize all that, i think there is something more going on with Ella and i hope it's explored in these upcoming seasons! I really liked seeing more in her storyline in 4 and 5a, and hope it continues even further!!
Please feel free to add more thoughts, or evidence (in support or against) on all of this! I love talking about all things Lucifer!
Only ET was on set with Tom Ellis, Lauren German and Aimee Garcia for the epic musical spectacular.
The ET interview really came through AS ALWAYS. Thank you ET ❤
I HIGHLY recommend you watch it!
Here's what we found out:
Lucifer is obviously mad at his Dad and wants to stay away from him, and God is acting as if nothing is wrong, but Lucifer does have a revelatory moment in this episode
God is in a human body and doesn't have his usual powers
Looks like we’re going to get the iconic “oh my god!” “yes that's me thank you”
There was 8 musical numbers
The musicals aren't just random, there is a reason for people randomly breaking into song, which has to do with God's powers or influence. He’s going ‘schizo’ apparently
They do "Another One Bites the Dust" at the crime scene around the dead body
TRIXIE SINGS A SONG GUYS IM GONNA CRY. APPARENTLY ITS LIKE ACAPELLA SOUNDING AND ‘SO TENDER IT BREAKS YOUR HEART’
Tom apparently does his best singing he’s ever done
God and Lucifer have a duet and apparently its HELLA emotional (Tom played the recording for Lauren and she cried)
Ella and Maze have a like a sing off battle duet??
Amenadiel and Linda have a cute whimsical duet
apparently at the table read when they finished the episode the room was just silent cuz they emotional
WERE GETTING MORE DECKERSTAR DANCING: CHLOE SPINNING INTO LUCIFER
Lauren improvised the scene where Chloe bends down in front of Lucifer and Tom and Lauren could not stop giggling about it
MAN I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS EPISODE AND FOR ALL OF 5B AHHHH
I'm convinced that God (Deckerstar Shipper #1) and Ella Lopez (Deckerstar Shipper #2) will get along GREAT
I can just imagine a scene where Deckerstar is being all cute and they kiss, and then the camera zooms out from Deckerstar to see God and Ella standing there, sighing in happiness and holding there heart cuz there OTP finally got together
