💐 What flowers would be used in a flower crown for your oc? Why those choices?
i mostly used this as a reason too talk about flowers and stuff i associate with them in general, idk how well many of these would work for a flower crown but whatever
Anaivy: poppies because their first name is Poppy. lotus flowers because i keep thinking about the lotus eater legend, and lavender because of it’s calming qualities, which is the opposite of what Anaivy’s existence does, also lavender can symbolism distrust.
Betty: clovers because that seems very cowboy too me. black-eyed Susan largely because of their color, but also because i heard they symbolize justice. and sunflowers because i just think they vibe with her.
Coney: dandelions because i think they fit his stubborn hardworking nature. Hyacinth because the vibes check hard. and Thistle because i also think they fit his stubborn hardworking nature.
Charlotte: marigolds because they symbolize pain and grief, which he has a lot of. mint because it symbolizes suspicion, which fits. and hibiscus because i think about Sweet Hibiscus Tea and one of my ocs per story and it fits Charlotte.
Jane: daffodils because the vibe checks, tulips because all the vibes check and also tulips have a very special place in my heart and so does Jane. and primroses because they fit her being a living painting i feel, more so a paint of her style.
Knight: daisies because it fits her classic magical knight in shining armor deal, heather because of protection, baby’s breath because of the point i made for daises.
Thorn: roses because i’ve always associated her with them. lilies because they’re funeral flowers and Thorn is undead. and lilacs because they only bloom for a short while which i think fits, but also because they smell SUPER fucking good and as the cleaning lady of the medium building i feel like she cares about things smelling good.
Vivo: Asphodelus because they’re tied too the greek underworld and Vivo is made from the parts of a lot of dead people Frankenstein style. sage because the vibes just check and Vivo has always been smarter then what people give him credit for. and ivy, because i think they’re fitting for him.
Willow: forget me nots, rosemary and pansies because they all fit Willow’s obsession with their death and not having witness.
🌵 Who’s the prickliest of your characters? The softest?
i’m not quite sure about prickly. but Anaivy, Thorn and Betty tend too be the people that scare people the most. Anaivy and Betty more so. as for softest, Knight and Jane are pretty soft i guess. some of the least threating people. Knight in the sense people just feel safe around her, and Jane in the sense that people don’t ever read her as a threat
