I did half a proofread and then developed the worst migraine I’ve had in years that I’m still feeling now. I did not go to work today, I pissily watched a handsome man making coffee on youtube with a soothing asmr like voice. 

Thank you for the cheerleading! I will totally boss it, I’m just being pissy because I am usually so good at delivering to a deadline but thesis is just a completely different beast. Still, its NEARLY done (this one chapter) (and this is probably the hardest chapter to write, being that the writing is research and developing a ~ whole new theory of economics ~ rather than stuff I’m comfortable with.)

This so much. My sinuses are and always have been rubbish, and every single morning of my life I wake up with the sniffles and go through at least one hanky, and now I feel so Unclean it’s exhausting

Are there any libraries with a copy that you could access via interlibrary loan maybe? 90s books are a hard find, the book is probably out of print, the rights maybe haven’t been claimed back by the author, who probably couldn’t be fucked to self pub an ebook edition now. And the physical books have been weeded out of library collections to make room for newer ones and then you end up with this 700 dollar nonsense

I thought about going to the library yeah. It’s one of those Foundational To My Entire Worldview As A Person books tho so I really want my own copy. I found some floating around for like $60 which is much more within reach but still ridiculous lol
