Meet New DOCTOR WHO Villain: Ms. Delphox

Recently, we’d told you about the new companion that would be joining the Doctor Who team this season, now we’re learning there’s going to be a new villain as well!

Actress Keeley Hawes has been tapped to play banker Ms. Delphox, who we will meet in an episode this autumn.

I seriously think Ms. Delphox might be the new Master, because by cisbending the Master, Moffat would get to:

- Write away any homoerotic subtext from the Doctor/Master relationship, and have his Doctor be as straighter than straight as he likes him - Pose as a ”feminist” and an ”innovator” - Have her be River Song 2.0, now that River is gone - Leave his indeleble mark on the Master as he did on pretty much everything else in the Whoverse: he retconned the Time War, added a new Doctor and a new regeneration cycle, saved Gallifrey, had Eleven live almost 1000 years (mostly offscreen), and had his multiple Claras save each and every past Doctor, and even personally pick the Tardis for One. What’s to stop him from rewriting the Master too?

Edit: I'm NOT hating on the idea of a female Master. Actually, I think Keeley Hawes would be great in the role. I'm only questioning Moffat's motivations (the straightwashing of the ship)
