Would you be able to write a fic detailing Yohan and Gaon's relationship through the other characters (ie Jinjoo, Soohyun, Elijah, Jeongho, others) eyes?
I tried something a little different with this fic. Hope you enjoy it! And thank you for being so patient and waiting!
1. Oh Jinjoo
Jinjoo didn’t think much of Gaon and Yohan’s relationship at first. She just thought they were Chief Judge and Assistant Judge, just like her relationship with Kang Yohan. However, overtime, the more she watched them, the more she realized that…something was definitely going on. She noticed how often Yohan usually deferred to Gaon or turned his head towards him whenever he spoke and stared at the young man like he hung the stars himself. Jinjoo had always wanted Yohan to look at her like that, she was his biggest fan after all, but after watching Gaon and Yohan together, watching how a smile, a genuine smile, grew on Yohan’s lips as he listened to Gaon talk about something (probably his plants, Jinjoo knew how much he loved to talk about his plants), she couldn’t help but smile too. They certainly weren’t the people she met when she first joined the courts…they were softer, at least by her standards. And she could tell that they were happy, which was really all that mattered right? “I’m happy for you” she declared one day as she and Gaon sat in their office, working on the paperwork for an upcoming trial. Gaon looked over at her with wide eyes, blinking in confusion. “What?” he replied, causing Jinjoo to look over at him and smile knowingly. “You and Judge Kang. I’m happy for you” she repeated. Gaon blinked again before he blushed and looked away. “Oh” he murmured. Jinjoo chuckled as she turned back to her computer, continuing to work. “Thank you” Gaon murmured after a while, causing Jinjoo to grin. “I better be invited to the inevitable wedding” she declared. Gaon laughed and nodded. “You’ll be the first one on the list” he assured. Jinjoo laughed. “Good” she replied. Gaon smiled as they went back to work but Jinjoo really meant what she said: she was happy for them.

2. Yoon Soohyun
When Soohyun was alive, she certainly wasn’t pleased with the thought of Gaon and Yohan getting close. Gaon was hers, after all. He’s the reason she became a cop at all, the reason she pushed herself to rise the ranks and become a lieutenant. So she could protect him. Because that’s all she ever wanted to do. To protect Gaon. Keep him safe. But she couldn’t do that here. In the afterlife. All she could do was watch as Gaon grow into the person she knew he could be: a great judge who just wanted to help people get justice. And while she wished she could have been by his side while he was accomplishing all these things, she couldn’t deny that having Yohan by Gaon’s side made her feel…better. Since she had passed on, she could “watch over” Gaon and see how he was doing and she saw how much Yohan cared for Gaon and vice versa. She never saw that when she was alive…maybe because she was too focused on wanting to protect Gaon and keep him for herself…who knows. But she could watch and see how Yohan took care of Gaon, how he comforted him whenever the nightmares got too bad, how he made him laugh when he was having a bad day, how he…protected him. Made him feel loved. And really, that’s all that mattered to Soohyun. As long as Gaon was happy, safe, and loved…she could give them her blessing. “Just know Kang Yohan…if you ever break Gaon’s heart again…I will curse you and haunt you until you die” she warned, a dark smile on her lips. She could still protect Gaon from the afterlife if she needed to. She was his best friend after all.

3. Min Jungho
Min Jungho hated the idea of Gaon and Yohan being together, mainly because he felt like Gaon was going against everything he had ever taught him about Kang Yohan; how he was the devil, how he should never be trusted, how he was basically destroying the justice system, but Gaon could honestly give a shit what he thought. After what he did to Yohan, after bringing Jung Sunah into their home, after all the countless years of gaslighting and manipulation, after what he did to Soohyun, Gaon no longer wanted to hear, to know, or care about what Min Jung Ho’s opinion was on him, on Yohan, or on their relationship. His opinion no longer mattered. He was dead to Gaon.

4. Jung Sunah
Sunah couldn’t help but be a bit jealous of Yohan and Gaon’s relationship, she wasn’t going to lie. Yohan was always something, or someone, she had strived for…to be like or to be with, she was never sure. All she knew is that she wanted to be around him and be in his world. So when she was invited to his house one evening to have dinner with him, she was over the moon. She got to return to the mansion, to the place where she realized what kind of life she wanted to live and have, and she got to spend the evening with Yohan. Who wouldn’t want that? However, she certainly wasn’t expecting Gaon to be there, and she certainly wasn’t expecting Yohan to focus all of his attention on the young judge instead of her. Though she couldn’t deny…they looked good together. Gaon’s soft white to Yohan’s harsh black…and Sunah could tell that Yohan definitely smiled more. More than she remembered from their childhood. But then again, Yohan’s childhood wasn’t a very happy one. Neither was hers, if she was being completely honest. So to see him smile was nice, even though it made her heart clench because she wanted to be the one to make him smile like that. “You’ve made yourself quite at home, Judge Kim” she mused, making Gaon look over at her and smile slightly. “You think so?” he replied. Sunah smiled and nodded as she looked between him and Yohan. “You two make quite the cute couple” she mused. Gaon blushed and Yohan preened causing Sunah to smile as she took a sip of her wine. Maybe she could have a life like this one day…maybe with Jaehi. That would be nice.

5. Ms. Ji
Ms. Ji couldn’t deny that Gaon’s presence brightened up the mansion. And he definitely made Yohan and Elijah happier, if the laughter that greeted her when she entered the mansion had anything to say about it. So, her view on the relationship between Gaon and Yohan was that…Gaon made Yohan happy. Elijah too. But mainly Yohan. She watched Yohan grow up, knew about the abuse he had suffered, and after his brother died…she watched him become a cold and hardened man who wanted nothing more than to bring the Korean elites to their knees because of what they did to Elijah and to Isaac. But then…Gaon came along. And Ms. Ji didn’t like him at first…reminded her too much of Isaac, but then she watched. Watched as Gaon wormed his way into not just Yohan’s heart but Elijah’s too, not by force, but with gentle love and care. And now the mansion was filled with laughter and bright smiles, rather than tense silence and slamming doors. So…what did she think of Gaon and Yohan’s relationship? As long as Master Yohan and Elijah were happy, it didn’t really matter what she thought about their relationship, right?

+1 Kang Elijah
In Elijah’s opinion…Gaon and Yohan were gross. And by gross she meant overly affectionate. She honestly never thought she’d see the day where Yohan was smiling and flirting yet here she was, sitting and eating her breakfast while watching her uncle and his associate judge make bedroom eyes at each other. It was fine for like the first five minutes but it was now thirty minutes into breakfast and she was getting quite fed up with them and their nonsense. “Do you two mind? Some of us are trying to eat here” she grumbled. Gaon and Yohan looked over at her, Gaon at least having the decency to blush while Yohan looked fucking pleased with himself (as always). “Sorry Eli” Gaon murmured. Elijah huffed as she went back to eating but she couldn’t help but smile. She liked having Gaon around; she honestly hated him at first, hated how much he resembled her late father, just the very thought of him made her so angry. But then he held out an olive branch with the French toast and she realized that maybe…maybe he wasn’t so bad. And then he began playing with her, praising her, comforting her, protecting her and she felt like she was…getting a second chance with her dad. And while Gaon may not be her dad…he felt like her dad. Just like Yohan always had. Even though she never told him, she always looked at him as her parent…even though he was her uncle, he was also her dad. And now Gaon was her dad too. And while they could be gross and overly affectionate, she loved them. They were her dads. And she was their daughter. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
