I still think Ms. Norris used to be a woman and she had a thing with Filch years ago, but something happened and she was turned into a cat. That's why Filch has such a great relationship with the cat and she does all of his dirty business for him.

Mary: If [the Perisans] couldn't invade with their army and they couldn't invade with their navy, why didn't they use their air force?
Norris: Well, Mary, look at that map...it says 3000 B.C, so...

About the Pequots and our APUS textbook:
Norris: The Pequots. When you were reading the book, it was like, "Aw, poor Pequots..." Have not fear. The Pequots survived, bounced back, and are now running one of the greatest industries--The Fox Casino of Connecticutt.
That awkward moment in the Chamber Of Secrets when Filch thinks Ms. Norris is dead and loses it.
I gained so much sympathy for Filch in that book, even though he’s kinda mean. And the scene when Harry finds the Quickspell brochure in Filch's office. You realize that Filch is an old squib who is all alone in the world. Nobody respects him because he's old and can't even do magic. The only friend he has in the world is his cat, who he thinks is dead. Imagine the sorrow he's feeling. And then Lockheart comes in and fucks everything up.

Holiday Quote

Ms. Norris: Evidently there isn't a PETA branch in Wholville to stop the cruel abuse of Max...

Kristen's First Quote (I was so proud!):
Ms. Norris: Simon, you can move if you're cold.
Simone: No, I'm fine.
Ms. Norris: Is that why you've pulled into your shirt like a turtle?
Simone: I lost this arm in 'Nam.
