Redesigning/reworking MS2 OCs... here’s Kho!

Personality Young and immature, Kho is fiercely independent in what she does and often acts rashly as a result, believing that she can fend for herself. She hates it when people baby her and wants nothing more than to prove she can do something. It’s not surprising to hear that she doesn’t like the nobility very much, either. She’s equally loud-mouthed and unafraid of speaking her mind. She doesn’t like being ignored and does everything she possibly can to make sure that everyone knows that she’s there and that she has some very strong opinions about things. Backstory She knows very little about her past, as she was too young to remember anything about it, but the Lumina Liberation Army (LLC) describes how they found her as such: The Realm of Light was corrupted after the death of the Goddess of Darkness. The LLC was quickly formed to rescue any trapped people within the dark land, including Kho’s family. They had raced over after hearing their cries for help, but by the time they arrived, it was too late. They called Kho very lucky for even making it out alive, given that she was barely out of her toddler years. They took her in as their own, housing and taking care of her in their makeshift shelters until they were able to take her to a safer area. She remembers arriving in Tria, where she remained for a few years before running away from the adoption center to return to who she considered her “real” family: the Lumina Liberation Army. Between avoiding the police and stealing to survive, she soon reunited with the group she had originally been with. They were shocked and told her to turn back, telling her that her inexperience would get her killed. She refused, but the knights who were accompanying the LLC recognized Kho’s face from the news and quickly sent her back to Tria. She lived in the center for a while longer before finally being adopted. However, still bitter from her abandonment by not only her biological parents and her first family, she refused to consider them blood. When she became a teenager, she quickly offered herself up to join the royal guards. After much begging, her parents agreed and sent her off to train. Nowadays, she takes advantage of her training and studies, hoping to return to the Land of Darkness to stick it to her old family and show that she is capable of saving people.

Emcy!

Raised in a noble family of knights, she was raised to be a shining example of selflessness and determination. Nevertheless, she decided that the path of knighthood wasn't for her and chose to pick up her studies in a prestigious academy instead. She loves to read and learn as much about the world as she can, so when the opportunity struck to study abroad in Amherst, she couldn't say no. She graduated in Tria, but soon returned to the small island.

She spends a lot of her time amongst the friends she's made there, but she also puts herself to work by tending to whatever people may need. Whether it be minute tasks like picking flowers or more backbreaking work like carrying cargo, she'll always be there to help! She also runs a small confectionery near the forest.
