I agree. I can see why SA was so excited about it. I mean, the set and all that was amazing. But in terms of new knowledge, there wasn't anything huge. I think it just gave visual confirmation for some of the things we were already thinking.
And he should be excited. I mean visually the episode was excellent and did look like a movie. Plot-wise...well no surprises there esp. not for people that go for spoilers.

Yeah, I agree. This one was way too hyped. It wasn't a bad episode, I can't honestly say that, but it wasn't really as big as they promoted it to be either. It was kind of underwhelming, to be honest. (But would have been less with less hype.)
I do think it was big but only production-wise and visually. It truly was great in those respects, and I think that's what had them excited. The feeling of working on something movie-like. The thing is....pull some twists in the plot to make us gasp dude. Don't rely on the action and stunt scenes alone, which while stellar, they only go so far.

I felt the exact same. I loved parts of it, mainly Slade. I just, I adore him so much it's not even funny. And he so controls this situation. The rest, a good episode but the reveal was 'meh' to me too. I'm more curious now about Ivo and "Jessica."
Curious about that as well....Even posted about it! And we all know what we're thinking right? As for the episode....well. I had hopes that this one would top Three Ghosts, but nope. Nothing so far surpasses Three Ghosts....IMO a masterpiece of an episode!
