I've never really paid attention to skin tones, though I have seen a lot of custom contents associated with it and read a lot of negative comments about the default skin tones in the game. When testing ready-made Sims, I avoided downloading unnecessary extensions. But when I found a certain female Sim I decided to download the set. And I do not regret it! The difference is visible.
