State Solo and Ensemble Tomorrow

And the stress begins.

We got threes all around except for one 2 at festival. Honestly, everybody (including other band directors and administrators) agreed that we deserved a much better score. Last year we got straight 2s and we were so much worse. This panel of judges was incredibly harsh. I'm not that upset but it is disappointing when we work so hard and pretty much only the host school gets a good score. Even the other schools, who are fairly good, didn't go to state, or even get good scores.

I have district solo and ensemble festival tomorrow for band and I'm soooooo nervous. Sleeping should be interesting tonight.

Tomorrow I have All-State band and orchestra auditions. I'm really nervous already. I've never struggled with a piece on horn before, and the fact that I'm not 100% confident makes me scared.
