Cannot believe that tonight marks ten years since#MadamSecretary premiered. What a wonderful time it has been. I loved the show. I made so many new friends because of the show. I started an annual fundraiser for #UNICEF. I participated in many other fundraisers. Can we discuss the amazing fan fiction that has been written in the past ten years. I will admit to rewatching that show all through the COVID pandemic and I bought the DVD’s so I can continue to enjoy this series for the rest of my life. Thank you to #BarbaraHall #MorganFreeman #LoriMcCreary the entire cast and crew and to the incredibly talented #TéaLeoni for making #ElizabethMcCord the most relatable, layered, rich character I have ever seen.

Literally the best thing about MSec is how much everyone is like yeah Elizabeth is amazing and we will do anything for her. And Henry is the most that way.

At the beginning of S5 when he's kind of chaffing against the idea of what her running for President will do to him but then he watches her give that E Pluribus Unum speech and he's like fuck it. He'll do whatever it takes to make this woman President, even if he means he has to change some things about himself.

He loves and believes in that woman so much.

I figured I should introduce myself officially since I’ve been lurking on Madam Secretary tumblr for a while now. Some of you may (or may not lol) know me from FanFiction as gypsysfeather! I just wanted to make a master listing of my MSec fanfics in case anyone is looking for some “new” ones (maybe that you haven’t seen on FF yet). I’ve loved being immersed in this MSec world for the past year!

On top of writing/reading MSec FanFic, I also am a full-time graduate student and am (trying to lol) write a book in all my "free time." I like to explore the human experience as much as I can, particularly through Elizabeth and Henry's characters. I like writing Henry/Elizabeth because they are so human in the show, which is something we don't always get to see in television and movies.

And of course, I'm ultimately a big Tim and Tea fan (how could you not be?). I also like to read romance novels and listen to memoirs on audiobooks, which sometimes my memoirs I'm reading appear in my stories because, well, I'm reading a lot of Madeleine Albright right now.

Thanks, everyone, for being so welcoming! Wish I'd have been part of this fandom when it was still on TV.
