Tropes are everywhere in fiction, from TV shows and movies to fanfic about those TV shows and movies, and this event is for appreciating them in all of their forms: played straight, subverted, and even invented! The event will run from 1st-7th September, and you can either work with one (or more) of the daily prompts below, or post something any day of the event that fits with the general theme.
Additionally, this event happens to coincide with the trope themed month of @vinnymauro's color challenge (a great gifmaking event I've been having a lot of fun partaking in!) so feel free to combine prompts from both events this September :)
