Okay I need to explain that I am a historian at heart and I love, love history driven stories: So this is a mostly informational, sometimes thumb tacks and paper string write up of what I call the Hitpoint Squad
Hitpoint and Hitpoint Masters are erl tournaments run in Czechia and they're used to determine the slot given to Czechaslovakia in EUM. These tournaments are largely community run and it's a small, intimate but hyperloyal community to their few LEC players.
The first one was Freeze. Most people have forgotten him now or know him as a coach for 100T but Freeze was the first Czech player to be on a competitive EULCS team, 2016 H2K. Unfortunately his story ends there as he got an arm injury, preventing him from playing out his rookie year. Forgiven came in and despite the many, many troubles that roster hadit was successful and Freeze was forgotten and never picked up again although there was a world where instead of Carzzy MAD went with Freeze in 2020 as he was a part of their academy team who won the Spanish League.
Weird to think how the timeline would shift if Carzzy took one of the other 5-6 offers he had, like if he went to VIT with Labrov earlier. MAD 2020 probably would have benefited from the veterancy but it would not be the lovable squad of rookies + one sophmore that beat the odds and gave so many incredible moments. It would have been equally chaotic though. Freeze may be less horny but he is a rat and he would undoubtedly bully them all in an older brother way.
That alternate history is not reality though and so he bounced around various ERLs and Turkish league, seeing a few tournament wins before rejoining his Royal Youth teammates Abbedagge and Closer in 100t. Importantly though, he still played in Hitpoint and other Czech tournaments for a while, leading him to compete against Neon, Patrik and Carzzy. These 3 ADCs are probably more familiar to LEC fans. Freeze's success emboldened and contributed to these young players, then in their early teens. I don't think it's an accident that of the Hitpoint players who have made EULCS and LEC, they are majoratively ADCs like Freeze. He was also on a team with Humanoid in Turkey and Humanoid was coached by Freeze's twin brother Nightshade. Suffice to say--they're all fairly close/connected.
Still, it is also important to credit an ADC's best friend: support. Of the supports in Hitpoint only Denyk has made it to LEC and he is vital to the success of not just our three enterprising ADCs but also Humanoid. Denyk lived in walking distance of the young midlaner and was his driver to their tournaments. He was a coach to Neon and Humanoidon an org he helped make called Fraternitas and also played support for them. He was also a support lane partner to Patrik in eSuba and to Carzzy on Czeska Husaria (which confusingly competed in Poland) helping them both see tournament success that would propel them into larger ERLs and the teams that would earn them LEC. Denyk's been credited in his career for being a great shotcaller and for being a strong, veteran presence admist young players. Small wonder MSF took him along with Razork, another player he helped mentor, initially in 2020. While it didn't work out for him in LEC (no thanks to frequent roster swapping with Doss), he's still mentoring and training young players in Czechia on yet another org he helped make. It's easy to call him the big brother to the Czech league.
Now we reach the next Czech ADC: Patrik. Patrik joined H2K in 2018 alongside Neon. This brought a tremendous amount of excitement as it was the first time they would have 2 players in the biggest league in Europe. Both of them were invited to come back and cast Hitpoint and despite their mixed results, were still held in high regard by the scene. Humanoid would follow them a year later, having being scouted by Mac and Vizicsacsi. Humanoid was likewise invited back to cast and the Czech league did their best to hype him up. Him making it to worlds in his rookie year marked another milestone for them, the first Czech player to actually play an international tournament (technically Freeze went to worlds but again, injury so he didn't play). Then Carzzy joined him in 2020 and then they went back to back in 2021 which is the biggest accomplishment for the region yet. 2022 hasn’t been as kind for the squad but they will always have their roots to fall back on.
Tldr: freeze is weird grandpa, denyk is the best oldest brother ever, patrik and neon are the doing their best middle children and humanoid and carzzy are the spoiled but successful youngest
