The parcel was abandoned and had back-taxes, but the city had not put it up for auction. They navigated a thicket of local agencies at the county and state level, doggedly meeting with every relevant official to get the county to take action on the property. They resolved some internal confusion at the agencies which has allowed the property to go to auction in the future and gave us a chance to buy it. Throughout Macy was excellent in communication, always writing out clear memos and keeping us up to date on progress.
