Imagine everyone on Psychic Island finally being able to experience going to Clubbox for the first time except for Crocus since he’s rooted to the ground :(
Wubbox headcanons, might add more to this later if I think of more stuff
wubboxes are a species of monster that was artificially created by Galvana, common, rare and epic wubboxes are considered to be the same species, the epic ethereal wubbox is a subspecies of the main species that was created before the main species was established
the main species is mostly machine-based though there are biological elements present regardlesa— epic ethereal wubbox, is the only exeption as the only individual of the other subspecies, it's about 50/50 between mechanic and biological
MOST wubboxes cannot speak, and communicate through both making different pitched noises at eachother and through body movement (they kind of dance to talk to eachother l'd say) the only exception to this are rare wubboxes, who often do speak to eachother, and attempt to speak to others
wubbox' 'voices' come from voiceboxes in their main bodies, their mouthes are basically speakers that connect to these voiceboxes via some sort of wierd fucked up wubbox bluetooth
all wubboxes have control panels on the undersides of their arms that control the volumes of their speech, speakers and keyboards. if these are damaged, the wubbox will not have very good volume control and could potentially seem too loud and/or quiet at times
all rare wubboxes experience glitching, but it is more painful/overwhelming for some depending on the individual
typically glitching doesn't negatively affect the wubboxes too much, but severe glitches can cause tunnel vision and/or temporary loss of vision for a few seconds, numbness, freezing up, lightheadedness and balance issues, sometimes it can unsync their speakers from their voicebox
all rares have straight 'human-esque' teeth because after they travelled the multiverse, they rebuilt themselves to mimic people more (also the reason they learned to talk/sing rather than just make dubstep noises like the commons or bari-sax noises like the epics)
all rare wubboxes used to be just ordinary common wubboxes before they travelled the multiverse and rebuilt themselves
all epic wubboxes used to be just ordinary common wubboxes before they dedicated themselves to their islands/colossals
epic wubboxes typically share many traits with their colossal (like temperments, interests, attutudes, passions, etc.)
their energy comes from their cores, they need to 'recharge' by retreating into box form (like sleeping kinda) for a few hours every day or biweekly depending on external factors (newness, damage, etc)
while recharging, wubboxes do kind of have 'dreams', but these are usually amalgamations of memories had by the monsters that were used to power them up and 'put into their playgrounds' I guess
wubboxes can eat, but they don't need to very often if they don't want to— if they do eat, the food is converted to energy they can use as a substitute for charging— typically if a wubbox eats it has issues with needing to charge too frequently
wubboxes regulate their tempatures fairly well, but they will sometimes encounter issues in hotter climates, which can cause charging and core energy retainment issues longterm— epic ethereal wubbox has more issues with tempature regulation since its biological aspects produce bodyheat, which decays the effectiveness of its core energy retainment, this is why it is seen eating and drinking more often than other wubboxes in canon
wubboxes, if nessesary, will repair themselves using materials they keep around in scap piles at the wubbox outposts— these scaps are usually meant for commons though, so non-common wubboxes have to decorate the pieces to blend in with the rest of their custom-built bodies

Ethereal Island Epic Wubbox Headcanons
(Referring to it as They/It or Ethereal)
(Headcanons may not be accurate to the MSM lore)
• About 15 ft tall.
• Would probably type "kys loser" or "HACKER YOU'RE HACKING" in the chat every time they lose a game.
• Hardcore gamer, we talking 24/7 at that PC 😭. Their life is mostly sedentary.
• Almost always tries to find a way to exploit games to make winning easier.
• Would 100% argue with 10 year olds on Roblox (even in voice chat).
• The ultimate pro at Bedwars.
• It would probably like the Spirit Halloween costume store.
• Has most likely hacked the official monster handlers' discord accounts several times to cause chaos in the MSM discord server at least twice.
• Is banned from several discord servers. 💀
• Ethereal gets scolded often, especially when causing trouble online, but it never learns from it. (Or chooses not to learn rather-)
• Calls everyone loser, nerd, idiot, or noob.
• Cusses like a sailor when it's mad + gamer rage. Expect broken monitors, keyboards, tables, and controllers.
• It gets annoyed easily and hates being bothered while gaming. (GET TF OUT OF MY ROOM I'M PLAYING MINECRAFT)
• Probably owns a soda drinking hat so it doesn't have to get up a lot.
• Acts emo all the time and only chooses to befriend goth-looking or edgy monsters.
• Will definitely trip other monsters on purpose then act innocent.
• Pizza, popcorn, and soda? Heck yeah!!!!!!
• Can give computer viruses to devices and even other robot-like monsters.
• Could probably mind control the other wubboxes through hacking or glitches if it really wanted to.
• "CAN YOU IDIOTS LOCK TF IN??!"
• It straight up invented the "Dark-Web" in the monster world.
• "Bro what an L team 💀💀💀"
• "EZ THAT WAS TOO EZ"
• Has any and all gaming devices/platforms. Xbox, PlayStation, Wii, Nintendo switch, etc.
• More than willing to tease and sabotage their own teammates so it can take the victory.
• Definitely plays Fortnite, Minecraft, Friday Night Funkin, and Call of Duty.
• Trolling? YES PLEASE.
• The only reason it comes out of its room to contribute to the song is because someone always promises to buy it a new game. ("If you come out here and cooperate we'll get that new game you've been wantinggggg~~~~")
• If it knew what GameStop was it would never leave. Or... If it DID leave it would 100% be a robbery.
• It actually hates the Ethereal Island song and thinks it's "too chill and calming". It prefers more intense themes.
• If a game has several unfixed bugs it's always the first to find out about it. (Besides the devs)
• Your game is laggy and glitchy? Best believe it's going to use that to its advantage. Well, who's to say it doesn't cause the glitching on your end?
• Somehow makes the wifi connection stronger. (Probably because of its electrical currents or smth yada yada robotic monster stuff)
• Its room is very junky. Messy bed, keyboard keys scattered on the floor, empty pizza boxes and soda cans everywhere, etc.
• Would definitely be a bad influence on younger monsters. It would teach them how to insult others when they fail miserably. ("Okay now type 'you're a fatherless noob go touch grass'.")
• Always puts "Xx" at the beginning and end of their username.
• The spots on Enchantler's face are actually a protective layer of keating on clumps of fur, which will crumble off with time, simmilarly to the protective layer on bird feathers. (That's why they're not seen on it's Crescendo Moon skin.)
• Galvana still has her old staff, they just don't like using it. It allows for better control over their power, making her over all stronger, but they only use it when they need to lock tf in.
• Agent Redacted temporarily lived with his grandmother when he was younger. They owned a tarantula and he was always strangely good at handling spiders.
• Most (if not all) of the Wubboxes have some kind of typing quirk.
• Cruv'laapht tends to smack together the horn-like appendages on their head when they're thinking or get excited. (Stimming. That's their way of stimming.)
• The faces of those Zarroë knew before the Cataclysm appear a little blurry to them, due to how disconnected they feel because of being asleep for so long.
• Post Breakout Stars (Summer Song 2024), Auglur sometimes sneaks out to parties (where the place is pressurised, so it's safe for him to be there). Vhenshun found out when she came back from the Bumpin' Basement party (Summer Song 2025) and he was so smug and obnoxious about it.
• Like Enchantler, Cruv'laapht also has the Dorsal Light Response, but he backs into Phosphora way less than Enchantler.
• After Agents Blank and Null have been moved to the CS Division for fumbling the Decommissioned Outpost Field Operation, they are both on the same rank as Agents Redacted, Chill and Dee (or maybe even a bit lower). Agent Null got used to it relatively fast, since his position wasn't much far above before, but Agent Blank was struggling a bit with her demotion.
• Agents Blank and Null still pick fights, (much to the annoyance of the other 3 Agents), but they try to keep it out of managements' sight. They don't wanna risk a worse punishment.
• Agent Chill attempted minimising the arguments by making sure Null's and Blank's desks are the 2 furthest ones from eachother.
• Most of the time, the floor these Agents work on is pretty calm, but the one thing that could break out a full-on war there is questioning whether Pluto is a planet or not.
Agent Redacted has fled the office upon being questioned on the matter by the 4 of them.
• Since Hyehehes' skin doesn't grow with them and they add cloth to keep their insides inside and the Hoolas are Friends with the Hyehehes, they learnt how to sew, incase one of the Hyehehes got an injury.

Other little headcanons in undercut!!!
• Besides Epic Gold Wubbox, Epic Water Wubbox is the tallest wubbox!!! Epic Air Wubbox, along with Epic Fire Haven Wubbox, are the shortest wubboxes!!!
• Fire Haven wub and Fire Oasis wub make eachother matching sister bracelets.
• Ethereal Wub bullies kids on Roblox.
• Ethereal Wub surprisingly has a much shorter temper than Earth wub. This is surprising for many monsters since Earth wub is known and feared a LOT for his very short temper.
• Cold Wub and Ethereal wub both hate socializing, and prefer to stay isolated and alone in peace.
• Plant Wub loves exploring, and is deeply fixated on G'joobs. Plant Wub is the most fixated on her Island's Mythical than any of the other wubs.
• Air wub is a huge daredevil, and will not hesitate to break any world records of a crazy stunt if he hears about one.
• Water wub is mute.
• Gold wub plays a huge parental role with the epic wubboxes of the natural element islands. He's constantly making sure that they're okay. It specifically keeps an eye on Air wub since he's often the one who gets into trouble the most.
