I reblogged this last month, tagged it, and said “might as well see if it works.” I used this video as a reference to find all the forms that i needed (which is A LOT, especially if you’re a dependent) and sent them through the mail, not really allowing myself to hope.
dude.
$2,714 of medical debt from my top surgery - gone. im shaking this was such a weight on me for 2 years and it fucking worked. what the fuck.
Hospitals like to hide these policies under a lot of successive links in obscure places, so if you don't see anything right away, keep looking! Get friends to help! Make it a scavenger hunt. A game where you're assassins sent to slit capitalism's throat
Very difficult choice... but I'd have to go with spiders. I love spiders, all spiders... even the "mean ones".
It's not spiders' fault that they were victims in one of the most successful propaganda programs in the world (being pest control's).
In reality, they're incredibly diverse and unique animals that are highly concious and inteligent. Spiders indoors actually can track your routines!
Oftentimes if I find a spider in my house, I'll either let it be or release it depending on how skinny it looks. Some spider species have specifically evolved to live in caves, and need to live in our spaces since it's closer to those enviroments (like "daddy long legs, which either reffers to harvestmen, which I am not talking about, or cellar spiders, which I am!)
Many people are terrified of spiders, I used to be scared of them too actually! What changed my mind was when I decided to learn about them for a middle school biology class. My bug-loving teacher's philosophy was "the ultimate way to combat fear, is to learn about what you're afraid of" and he was right, it worked for me.
People love to learn, and gather knowledge about stuff... eventually, they may start to enjoy what they're learning about, even if they hated it at first.
Hell, I used to HATE ants due to traumatic experiences with them as a kid. In order to repeat my success with spiders, I started learning about them too. Now look at me, bugs are one of my favorite things, even ants.
This technique doesn't work with every situation, as it is essentially just a flavor of exposure therapy, but it's really cool that it worked so well for me. If you don't think this will work for you, please don't try this method!
in general i think fans are allergic to men caring about women beyond them being an evil ex-girlfriend or a mother or a sister or a quirky wingman which is. frusterating. sometimes a man in a story has an interesting complex compelling relationship with a woman or they have a unique strong bond with one another but because fans don't view women as autonomous beings with internality and complex relationships she gets watered down to being one of like five stock archetypes.
(5) What's your drink of choice? (Coffee/tea order, alcohol of choice, pop, etc)
Those amazing, delectable, scrumptious, incredible, delicious, magical, unforgettable, awe-inspiring, heavenly hybrid cranberry juice drinks. Cranberry grape and cranberry rasberry (or however you spell it) are the best ones to me
(14) If you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?
(2) What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?
I don't watch a ton of movies, but I think the last movie I watched (if you could even call it that) was probably a star wars movie back in may during the may 4th marathons, when I put on my TV for background noise while I do other things
(17) Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any lucky rules?
I think luck is very interesting to think about... while I don't have any lucky items or rules, I like to imagine it's based off of chance and a given situation/s... and sometimes under the right circumstances, that chance actually affects things. I've experienced some really lucky stuff, and it's pretty cool to have once-in-a-lifetime experiences
