Langston Hughes Academy 2nd Grade ELA & Theatre Ms. King & Ms. Thornton

Ms. Thornton’s students are studying early pioneers, and how characters face challenges and change over time. Using the Theatre strategy of tableau, they expressed this learning in a series of three pictures - Beginning, Middle, and End. 

They also discussed the challenges they face in their own lives, and how they have changed over time. They expressed these ideas in Beginning, Middle, and End tableaux.

Ms. Thornton is a Special Education HCA at Riverside University High School.

She takes time with many of the special Ed students, tries to understand them. She is very patient does hand over hand with them and give one on one assistance. Keep up the great work. I know you will make a great early childhood teacher EX ED. Keep up the good work.
