after revisiting that damn mirror of erised, insu is horrified to see ethan’s face right next to his; where the two of them are holding hands domestically as if there was no care in the world. it made insu flush red and scurry out of there faster than you could tell him

now granted, most people would have probably rolled their eyes when they saw ethan next to them in that mirror- because honestly was it that big of a deal? but it was a big deal to insu, who was practically frazzled at the thought. being married to ethan? the guy who threw a fit about insu ripping up a piece of art? but then again... if the mirror is so hell bent on them being together... well...

insu had yet to actually grapple with the idea that he had a crush on ethan. ethan is every he isn’t- nosy, annoying, loud and arugably kind of an asshole. but there’s something charming about him that has insu going back which is weird. maybe he should ask the infirmary to clear his head. 

as he’s sitting in the library reading a book he finally had the chance to read, he feels a presence behind him. a hand touches his shoulder and he flinches, practically jumping out of his chair and turning around only to be face to face (kind of, insu is shorter than him) with ethan. instead of paling, his face goes pink and he immediately sits back down to hide the blush.

“hi ethan,” he murmurs. “what are you doing in the library?” he tries to make some form of conversation so he doesn’t appear awkward (but awkwardly for him, he’s still awkward no matter what).

“i heard...” she lets herself in, a quick alohomora and she’s letting the door click shut behind her. “from a little kitty that you are in the market for adopting a pet.” it’s been some days since she was able to catch her brother, dom taking up a lot of her time as well as... other friends. 

“and i just thought it was interesting that you wouldn’t tell me.” because it wasn’t like they kept secrets from each other. it wasn’t like them to not talk either, so this insu boy must be much more than ethan is letting be known. 

which elodie just isn’t going to stand for. she was his sister and she had a right to know. 

“i didn’t even know you were looking to pick someone up. funny how he had to tell me that.” she levels him with a carefully passive look, making herself comfortable on his roommates bed, not really caring if she disturbed anything she shouldn’t. “i thought we told each other everything, big brother. i’m a little offended.”

1:1 with @msuethan​ prompt #13 - eyes

Well, he should have seen it coming, should have seen the tiger showing its stripes (finally) and lucky for him, he was fast – at least faster than Ethan’s fist, that tried to hit him the first time.

Even though Alec should have expected that, he was still amused that the guy had the guts to just attack him out of nowhere and for no reason. Actually there was a reason and he didn’t want to thank his father for that (yet). It was either that or Elodie.

Fuck, Elodie…

Alec rolled his eyes as he sprinted far from the other’s fist once again and he could see is his eyes he was being serious about whatever had been going inside his head.

“Ethan man wait! I didn’t do anything…I’m pretty sure!”

romance in the dark

when ethan asked him to meet him at the carriage ride, he was a little bit nervous. he had dressed up in jamie’s costume, decked out as a simple vampire. the night was finally in full swing. alec and insu had had the chance to go once and it had been really fun. it was nice to spend some time together... but with ethan insu is even more nervous. what if he did something wrong?

the two hadn’t spoken much since their confessions in the library... and insu was nervous .but when he suddenly got a note saying that ethan wanted to meet him for a carriage ride he eagerly went. he is probably like, way too early but he’s standing in line, timidly. it looks like he’s completely by himself. he isn’t paying attention to anything behind him, just totally lost in fact that they were going to be alone together...

when he was next up, there was no one else behind him thankfully. he kept moving backwards in the line, worried that ethan was going to be late... or maybe he wouldn’t show up at all. worried, he kept biting at his bottom lip, playing with his shirt when he feels a tap on his shoulder. he turns around, seeing ethan with relief and smiling. “oh hey, i just got here,” he lies as he blushes a little bit. “is my costume okay?”

"what were you thinking?" elodie hisses. she loved her brother, she really did. more than anything or anyone else, but sometimes, sometimes he drove her nuts! elodie didn't like to brag (she did) but she obviously felt like the brains of the pair at times.

especially times like these

"you couldn't even run this by me?" now, she wasn't exactly sure what has happened, but just the way ethan slinked up to her, the way that she could pick out that subtly guilty look of his anywhere. it comes with being as close as they were-- right along with the usual joint punishment because there was always the assumption whatever one of them has done, the other one had to be in on it.

even if that was usually the case, there was the rare occurrence that one of the twins was blindsided.

today was her unlucky day it seemed.

"how in the world are we going to get out of this one, ethan? it's the first week of school, dummy. i'm not exactly looking to get expelled so soon!" she reaches up quicker than he can duck out of her reach and pinches his ear, tugs him down to her level. "please, do tell me."
