admit defeat.
in a broom closet with @msulevi.
at first, nate tries his best to ignore levi. not that the two of them have ever regularly interacted with each other — at least not willingly — but after what had happened between them, he’s extra careful to avoid any interaction at all. he needs... time. time to think, try to make sense of what the fuck had happened, and why it had happened. not that it’s going so well. he’d tried talking to caleb about it, thinking maybe his best friend would have any good advice, but mostly, he’d just been laughed at. nate doesn’t understand what’s so funny, but caleb is weird like that.
so he hasn’t gotten anywhere on his own. maybe this whole ignoring levi thing can’t go on forever — not when he’s the only one who will actually know anything about what it all means. will levi even agree to a conversation with him? that, he kind of doubts, but there’s no harm in trying.
trying to talk to the younger is easier said than done. while nate is doing what he can to catch him alone, even if just for a moment, levi always seems to be one step ahead of him in their little game of avoidance. but that ends today. because nathaniel moon has a plan. might not be a very good one (most of his plans aren’t), but it’s something. as long as it helps him get levi alone.
after studying the quidditch training schedules, and just a little bit of sneaking around, nate’s got him, he’s sure of it. the hwaseong team have just finished quidditch practice, and the only person left on the pitch is the one he’s seeking, currently putting away the brooms. just like he had planned.
“okay, here i go,” he mumbles to himself, as he approaches the broom storage. he feels strangely nervous — some nervousness had been expected, but this much? hopefully he’ll be able to convince levi into talking, and they can go back to just being rivals, instead of... whatever they are right now.
“levi,” he begins, ripping the key out of the door as he enters, before shutting it behind him. the door is soon locked, the key thrown away carelessly on the floor, his one attempt at making it impossible for levi to escape from this. it’s dark, the only source of light the daylight flowing in under the door, barely enough for him to make out levi’s silhouette. “we need to talk.”
