do you believe that every person has a soulmate?

“i don’t know! i don’t really have much experience with love. like, if i’m being honest here — which i guess is kind of the point — i don’t think i’ve ever been in love. i’ve liked people, but i don’t think it’s been love. hasn’t felt like that super intense thing people talk about, anyway.” he’s rambling now. right, the topic here is soulmates, not love in general. “so. uhm. soulmates is a nice thought, i guess? but i don’t know if i truly believe in it. i’d have to experience it for myself first.”

what's the best thing that's happened to or for you this year so far?

“oh. i never really stopped to think about things like that, but i guess... if we’re talking about this year, i think that maybe trying to amend some old friendships was the best thing so far. it’s not something completely stable just yet and it had its own tough moments but it also brought me a lot of good feelings too.”

do you miss anything from your childhood? if you could go back in time and experience it again, would you?

     "i miss a lot of things from my childhood. i don't usually talk about this to anyone but i have an elder brother that passed away years ago. the best childhood memories i have are the ones that involve him when were both still young, naive and stupid and just, doing kids’ things.” his voice lowers. “i used to say ‘yes, i would’ to those questions but right now, i'm going to say nah, i'm alright, just living in the present even though adulting's a complicated phase. going back and experiencing all of it means i have to attend his funeral again and once is enough. as much as i missed him, the past is in the past. queen elsa sings that song, y'know.”
