I still haven't had the time to process everything that happened at camp. it was 5 days that felt like months. The first day of camp feels like ages ago. The relationships I had when I showed up changed so much and that feels like something that changed gradually but it all happened in a matter of days. I hurt someone, I was hurt by someone, I crushed on a new someone. I had to be honest with myself and with my feelings. I met new humans who changed so much of me and made my experience so special. I felt the comfort of community and being in a place that understood me. I spooned with 17 other people in a rainbow bounce house, wine drunk and laughing at the shapes the clouds made. I saw more adults in onesies than I ever have before. I made a diy flogger with my friends in the same room I had danced with a bottle of champagne the night before. In my cabin I witnessed feelings circles, tarot readings, lip sync battles, kink practices, sex, tears, and heavy drinking. I consoled my favorite people. I shared a bed with 2 other babes and fell asleep in the middle of them, holding tightly onto each other. I ate mediocre mashed potatoes more times than I care to admit. I drank hot chocolate at 3 in the morning, crying and talking about things Ive never said to another human before. I watched my chosen family grow, I watched the people I love love each other. I was home, I was my full self. Missing the mountain already, processing my feelings on a later date.
