Things to Do in Kota Kinabalu | PENDOWN – Travel, Food, Art & Experiences
Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah. This ‘fresh as a daisy’ city is located in the northern part of Borneo. One of the facts that I must share here is that the island of Borneo is the third largest in the world and largest island in Asia and is owned by 3 countries- Brunei, Indonesia & Malaysia. To know more about Kota Kinabalu Please visit us at, PENDOWN - Travel, Food, Art & Experiences.

In a Cloud @ Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia - view from Gaya Island. Arguably more pleasant (and definitely lazier) that walking up the great mountain.
After climbing Mt Kinabalu twice, it is painful to see what has happened.
On 8 June 2015, Singapore declared a National Remembrance Day in memoriam of the Tanjong Katong Primary School students, teachers and adventure guide who lost their lives at Mt Kinabalu in Sabah. All events at the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games began with a minute of silence to pay respects to the victims of the Sabah earthquake.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those lost in the Sabah quake.
Our thoughts, prayers and gratitude also for the mountain guides, who are laying and have laid their lives down to assist in the rescue efforts.
With much love, the (P)aragraph team
