Teamwork Excercise
It hadn't even been an hour yet and the older team was already starting to mess with them. Daniel had already been sent through the machine several times already. Plenty of times the other sniper had toyed with him by wounding him before killing him. Was this going to be regular in the fights? He runs passed his team's hysterical scout and steps outside only to run into the opposing Demoman, killing him the moment the door shutters open. "What's the point?" the scout yells out as Daniel is popped back into the world. "The point is teamwork!" the soldier yells back. "Not just hiding away in the locker room!" The pyro pulls on the sleeve of the engineer, and points to their flamethrower. The engineer watches them, but is unable to understand what they meant. "Teamwork? Yea. Let me throw on my teamwork pants! We can all be matching buddies!" the scout yells back. "Jack!" the spy scolds and the scout faces him. "Don't 'Jack' me! I was shot, stabbed, blown up and flattened all in less then 20 minutes! Where the hell have you been? Hiding!" The pyro runs over to Daniel, and pulls on his sleeve, holding out their flamethrower to him. Daniel signs at them, asking what they were trying to explain but instead, they throw their hands up into the air in frustration. "He was doing his job!" The soldier yells. "Unlike. You!" The soldier pokes Jack the scout in the chest with her finger. Without hesitation, the scout punches the solder in the jaw, causing her to stumble backward. "Jack!" the spy scolds again, this time grabbing him and pulling him back. Daniel rushes forward, getting in between the both of them. "Now you want to fight?" the soldier yells, dropping her rocket launcher. "Come on then, pipsqueak!" The soldier lifts her hands up and takes a swing at the scout, who barely dodges. Daniel runs forward and pushes his shoulder into her chest in an attempt to stop her. She was a big lady and Daniel was sure that she could rip the scout apart. Instead of stopping her, she pushes him closer to the spy and scout. The engineer and demoman step forward and help Daniel as the heavy grabs both the spy and scout. "No fighting!" the heavy says in good English for a Russian. "Not now, after we finish this fight." The soldier stops moving forward, her target out of reach and Daniel, the Demoman and the Engineer relax away from her. The pyro runs up to the Heavy once she puts down the scout and spy, and grabs her sleeve. They hold up a piece of paper to the heavy. She takes it, and looks at it. "Yea. Lets just get our asses fed to this machine again," Jack says. Daniel looks at the pyro as they start flayling their arms in the air, pointing at their flamethrower then at the door shutters. "You can blow away explosives?" the heavy asks. The pyro nods their head vigorously before lifting their gun and pulls a secondary trigger. Everyone but the Heavy and Pyro get knocked to the ground. The heavy mutters a single word in Russian and gives the pyro a pat on the shoulder. "I have made a plan," she says helping everyone to their feet. "A good plan?" the spy asks. "Better then no plan," she responds. _

Sage looks up at the side of the cliff. He wasn’t sure why Osmun had brought him here, this early in the morning and he probably didn’t really want to know.
“For today’s event,” Osmun starts, and Sage looks over at him. “You’re going to climb to the top.” Sage looks back at the cliff face.
“You’re kidding me. That’s it?” This was going to be easy, he thinks. Not much of an event.
“But before we start, I need you to close your eyes,” Osmun says.
“My eyes?” Sage instantly think of some sort of prank, but knows Osmun enough to know he wouldn’t pull something like that on him.
Osmun gives a small nod, and Sage complies. Nothing seems to happen, other then Osmun poking him. “You done yet?” he asks before suddenly feeling drained. He opens his eyes, and looks up at Osmun. “What did you do?”
“I negated your energy control,” Osmun says.
“You what!” Sage yells at him.
“Its so you can’t cheat your way to the top,” he says, seemingly unaffected by Sage’s yelling. “You still have your strength, your stamina and your brain. You just can’t use your energy to fly, jump or boost yourself.” Osmun looks at Sage. “And you can’t use it to go into Super Saiyan.”
Sage scoffs. He couldn’t control that even if he wanted to. “Give me back my energy!”
“I didn’t take it,” Osmun says and floats up into the sky. “But if you want that control back, I’ll be waiting for you at the top.”
“Osmun!” Sage yells as he disappears. “Stop being a monkey unkle and get back here!” Osmun doesn’t turn around. “Osmun!”
“You relied too much on Heath and Oleander!” he yells back, but out of sight. “Now they’re gone.” Sage clenches his teeth in anger. It should have been him. It should have been him!
“I’ll kill you!” he yells out and Sage hears it echo.
“Then come up and make me dead,” Osmun shouts back. “And I’d hurry. The Agnatha and Candiru are coming fast and you’re bleeding energy like a wounded animal.”
