Don’t have many good refs for my boys.  Considering that they’re from Ultimate Tenkaichi on the ps3, I’m fairly impressed I got what I got.

As a random thought.  The first minute of Stand By Me will always make me think of Heath and Sage at the final day of the Saiyan Tuffle War.  

Because they’ve been together for years already.  Fighting the Tuffles and protecting each other.  Then it’s the final day after 10 years.  The first full moon on Planet Plant(soon to be Planet Vegeta) since the beginning of the war.   Sage, having grown up with an ‘adoptive’ tuffle scientist as a mom, feared the Great Ape forms.  He can’t transform himself, having had that ability rubbed out of him by his mom(could have used better wording gabby lol).  

Sage and Heath are under the night sky.  Both looking to the stars, at the moon. Sage feels the urge to fight but nothing changes. He remains in his normal state but Heath starts to change beside him. 

And it terrifies Sage as he’s never seen a Great Ape in person(being only 5 when the war starts and the first full moon since then). Only in videos his mom played for him to terrify him and tell him how dangerous ‘wild’ Saiyans were.

Random Encounter #2 Heath - AGE 720 3 weeks into the Saiyan-Tuffle War __ Heath found himself in the wilderness, under a rockwood tree, his right arm and leg pinned between it and the ground. "Help!" He cries but it's quiet and raspy. He doesn't recall getting here. He doesn't remember anything other then being ambushed at a village. "Help!" He calls out again, desperate to get someone's attention. But he doesn't see anyone. Heath tries pushing the tree off, but it's useless. It was too big for him. His voice cracks as he gives one final cry. He wanted his mom and dad. He wanted his sister, Bryony. Instead, he was here and going to die. Heath hears a noise, and goes quiet for a moment. Someone was up in the trees, and it sounded like they were running away. "Come back!" He yells out, his voice cracking. "Please! I'm stuck!" The movement goes quiet, and Heath listens for more. The fear that it wasn't a someone but a something creeps up on him. He was going to die alone, and then eaten. There was a loud snap, and a branch falls out of the tree. A young Saiyan falls, screaming before grabbing onto another branch. He smiles for a moment, happy to see another Saiyan. He probably couldn't help him. He was no older then Heath, probably younger. The youth clambers onto the branch, and jumps farther back up the tree. "Don't go!" Heath calls out. "I need help!" There's more silence. "Please! Come back!" He begins to sob when there's no immediate response. He was going to die, stuck and alone, and become some animal's dinner. "My name's Sage." Heath looks up, and sees the kid looking down at him from a lower branch. "What's yours?" It takes him a few moments to settle himself. "Heath," he says, struggling not to stutter. "I'm stuck." Sage jumps down and walks over to look at the tree. "Well, Heath I'm stuck, you appear to be stuck," he says with a sheepish grin. He looks back at the tree, the grin fading into a worried expression. "Alright. This is a rockwood tree." He gives it a small rap with his knuckles. "I can't lift this." "There was a village," Heath starts. "I remember a village. It should be nearby." He wasn't sure how far away he actually was from the village, but it was the only place he could think of. And Sage was here. There had to be something nearby. Heath sees Sage nervously take a step back. "That village? Yea. That village. I'll go get help." Sage starts to run, jumping into a tree. "Don't go getting eaten on me!"
