September 15, 2015 - The last time we were in New Hampshire (April/May of this year), we discovered the incredible White Mountains. Unfortunately for us, there was still a lot of snow on the ground which limited our hiking options. When we came back to NH this time around, we knew we had to go back and explore more of this land. Our hike consisted of conquering Mt. Chocorua. It was a scenic hike up with some spectacular overlooks. Once at the top, the wind picked up, but the 360* views were breathtaking. A must do hike when you are in the area!
After the hike, we treated ourselves to some beer at Sea Dog Brewing Company, the way we always like to end a day of hiking.
When you take the road less traveled and it becomes a balance between life and death because it becomes a cliff with no way back down....It's amazing how something that you thought was so beautiful can suddenly change face and transforms into a potential horror. Set out for a hike; ended up climbing a mountain side without any safety harnesses....nature can be very scary. So grateful we made it to the top with only some cuts but nothing broken. At times of panic don't stop and let it set in...keep faith in what you are doing keep climbing and don't look down! #ILoveTrees #gladToBeAlive #mtchocorua #RobertFrost #hiking #TeamWork

Great day for a hike. Northern side trail so we hit ice early and dealt with it up until the treeline disappeared. It was thick and steep. Thank god for Microspikes.
