Has anyone been bitching about Oops All Spells
Not very much but then /mtg/ is known for complaining more than actually playing the game

Now of all the mad people, that guy was the maddest / He pulled a bone across his throat / And pointed right at us / Ten years on the lam fr
Been awhile but I have acquired more cards. If everything is going to plan, I’m currently playing the 3v3 at Oklahoma Land Run with something very similar to this. Might adjust the Polluted Deltas to other blue fetches, “playing around” Pithing Needle for free.
Or maybe we scrubbed out, scheduling this post like 2 weeks out so I’ll find out then.
Even if WotC could issue a full refund to everyone who owns a copy of Nadu, Winged Wisdom and recall the card for a functional errata and that would only partially make up for the problem letting that mistake through QA without testing the final version of it. Banning it in Legacy won't stop the deck it was in, but it's a start.
If it gets banned in all formats, I'll start cheering. Get that shit out of my games. I'm done waiting through non-deterministic combos. Good riddance.
Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student is next. The One Ring WOULD be next if they could legally ban it without breaking a contract, burning a business partner, and possibly paying a settlement out to the IP owner. And then Oops would probably take over, so we'd be looking at another two years before Legacy actually gets to be playable again.
Me keeping the worst hand known to man and 1 (one) brainstorm:
Has anyone made a spacecraft focused deck in a non-EDH format like standard or legacy? I dont see many people discussing non-commander decks for EOE and really want to make a cool sci fi deck for a 60-card format.
New Bans!
Announcing changes to Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, and Explorer effective December 16, 2024.
The unbans are interesting. Everyone is talking about splinter twin but I think mox opal and faithless looting will be much more impactful (I could be wrong though, it is a two card instant win, even if it is a little slow at 4 mana). Green Sun has me excited for midrange jund nonsense but realistically it's just a combo piece in titan or something.
The legacy bans are good. I worry Nadu and Eldrazi will be too good, but maybe they're easier to deal with with vexing bauble gone.
Jegantha is weird but I get it, it's free in so many decks
The distinction between playing mtg with a "tabletop deck" and a "countertop deck" is extremely important
My very first hand of tournament legacy was force, brainstorm, ponder, daze, delver, fetch, fetch. I felt like God. Then the opponent played a cavern and named slivers
