it’s too bad that most LGSs will do a “magic night” and it’s just a bunch of commander players. nothing wrong with a little commander once in a while but it would be nice to play some standard or modern in paper once in a while. hell, even pioneer or legacy if i’m feeling lucky.
around 2016 i played this janky paradox engine/aetherflux reservoir combo deck in standard. I'd play a ton of mana rocks, untap them repeatedly with paradox engine, and storm out til I could drop a nuke on my opponent with aetherflux.
it was a funny concept but my turns would take like 10 minutes, plus the combo was indeterminate so I'd have to play it out every game. scourge of my lgs
What's ur fave card to induce rage quits? It's been a bit, but this card saw the earlier ranks concede a surprising amount lol
