if you play a card that says play a card with out paying its mana cost and you use it to play a card with x in the mana cost, is it unlimited? Or do you have to tap your own lands for the x?
Neither. If you cast a spell without paying its cost, you do not pay anything for X. The value of X is therefore 0.

My favorite deck is for sure my Modern Mill deck... Love me some Mill!
My best deck, though, is probably my Derevi EDH. She's such a good commander that I can just durdle and draw cards until somehow everyone is dead. My Aurelia EDH is in close contention, though. The only form of Aggro I'll ever play: Battlecruiser Aggro!
