StrongVeganAthlete Chronicles 9/14 The ascent of #MtHuron. The ascent was short but steep. After extreme training for #Trackandfield, in #USATF certified and sanctioned track meets, doing speed and power events like the #highjump, #shotput and #100m, it was time to slow down and do more multi hour events. The ascent took 3.5 hours. The calorie count for the day was about 10,000 calories. Great exercise programs should allow quick changes in fitness interests. A one trick pony can say yes to just one thing, that one trick. A real athlete is versatile, able to do many things, sports and events. Hopefully this has been obvious in this feed.
