Froid Never Forgets
(Spoilers for Transformers: More than Meets the Eye and Lost Light)
We need to talk about the inherent gayness of everyone forgetting about you but your rival.
Rung was Red Alert's psychiatrist for six centuries but Red Alert still forgot about him.
But Rung disagreed with Froid a few times and Froid never forgot him.
It’s easy to write Froid off as just manipulative when he greets him with a big hug.
But the most telling moment comes later, in a private conversation with Getaway.
There is no one to manipulate here. Getaway doesn't care.
Froid gains nothing by admitting he cares about Rung here. Getaway doesn't care about any personal feelings Froid might have for Rung. There's no reason to admit he cares about Rung here, unless it's sincere.
The entire universe literally cannot retain a single memory of Rung. But Froid remembered him after millions of years because of some disagreements.
For someone who calls Rung "pathologically forgettable", the one bot who never forgets is Froid.
