Why do you think MTodd was innocent?? They had to have had reasons for giving her the death penalty, right?? All the buzz recently made me read up on some materials, and I'm so confused...!

i think to me its less about whether shes innocent/guilty, and more about whether she deserved the ruling she got
maybe she did do it, but something seems off about the entire story. something smells unfair about it. like, why wasnt anyone else punished for it? odette’s manipulation narrative sold the jury but…i dont really think all the pieces fit together the way she wants them to….
like, maybe mtodd did do it, but i find it hard to believe she was the sole person to blame. and if shes not alone in it, and not a criminal mastermind, it feels wrong to give one person such a severe sentence
like, what happened to the others, anyway? there was odette and the 3 other friends. they just kinda disappeared, even tho both mtodd and odie said they were involved they never even testified
i dunno, im mostly just chasing this rabbit because its a really mysterious case to begin with. there are so many moving parts and id love to get to the bottom of why, like…literally every facet of it feels weird and “off”? i just want to know the truth, whether shes innocent or not
right now we’re working to unravel odette’s part in this and see if her side of things can illuminate it a bit. but it seems like everything we find just makes her look shadier… i dont believe her story anymore…but again, odie wasnt punished at all

but hey if shes innocent & wants to be treated to a dinner date after she is out of jail and i have saved her, thats good too :’)
